Very nice, freshwater available at the dump site if you are an RV. There are toilets that flush. Very pretty and Convenient to Cades Cove. Literally right at the entrance. We will visit again. Fire pits at each site with grill.

C39 had some trees for setting up a hammock. Close to the bathrooms and the store. Would stay at this site again.

Great campground in a beautiful part of the Great Smokey Mountains NP. We saw lots of bears, and enjoyed the scenery. Rangers and volunteers are very nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is that the dump station for the RV's needs updating, especially when it comes to making sure that potable and non-potable water sources are clearly identified. Over the years, the water towers that are used to flush the black water tanks (and that are typically using non-potable water) have fallen into disrepair. Some cannot be used, and another one is identified as providing potable water. This is a violation of common protocol, and very confusing. If all the water sources at the dump station are potable, then put up a sign saying so, until everything is fixed, again, according to protocol. I'm sure that money is an issue, which is a shame since this park is a jewel, and Congress should make sure it has adequate funding.

We were on the only “block” that didn’t have nice new driveways. That would have been nice to know when we reserved it. Other than that, we found the Wednesday bike loop to be terrific, with many black bears along the way. Took some great hikes and trips down to Townsend for golf, meals, laundry, and supplies.

This campground was very beautiful! You have amazing views of the Smokey mountains on the drive up. You are right in the mountains so there is zero service, other than wifi under the pavilion behind the bike shop. There is wildlife everywhere! Overall we had a great time.

We were here in March so only part of the campground was open. The check in was easy and staff was friendly. The sites were a little too close to each other. Sites were clean and well maintained. The toilet building was heated and had warm water! Easy walking distance to great hiking.

Really like water no no electric get it right all that down no Wi-Fi no nothing no sun for my solar system bummer and then next thing you know I have no power not even two on hook the camper camper I didnt do it by hand it to remote for even a solor camper, We are not gonna stay there again we will stay outside the campground in Townsend and visit to Camp Ground by vehicle. On a positive note the ice cream at Cades Cove was the best my wife really enjoyed it., OK this feedback is for the manager if you can put it in the budget for some electrical even just 20 A minimum so we can charge our solar batteries because theres no sun in Cades Cove hello its a Smokey Mountains I should know better so I didnt think about it so going green isnt the best thing you need a generator to charge the batteries in the park was beautiful well kept plenty of animals and all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable we really liked it but we didnt like staying there. Theres no Wi-Fi wouldve been nice and a charging station to charge my solar batteries

Excellent campground. Well-suited for exploring Cades Cove. We did so by bicycle. We brought our own but rentals are available. It is a great way to see Cades Cove and makes stopping at the various road-side displays much easier. I recommend taking into account the Park Service maintenance vehicle storage site when picking a space.

We love Cades Cove and our family has visited there for generations. We came last time and rented a camping space so we could spend the day and have a campfire. Some people think we're crazy, but we just love being there - it calms us and refreshes us and we are so thankful to live so close to the beauty of God's creation.

Top of my bucket list forever to camp alone at Cades Cove Campground! Studied about it for months, to be prepared. Loved it. Perfect spot and met so many nice people. Loved hiking, riding around cove and wildlife. Rangers were very helpful and nice. Wanted to do another one before fall. At 67, my first time alone! Loved the Quiet moments!

We stayed 5 nights in mid-April. Surprisingly the campground was only 1/3 full, but weather may have played a part in that. Bathrooms were clean and heated first thing in the morning. Loop B (and a handful of Loop A) have nice concrete driveways. Some of the ones in Loop A could definitely be upgraded to concrete as well. Campground was quiet. The rangers were very present. My reason for giving a 4 star vs 5 star rating was the ladies room was without soap and toilet paper in one of the stalls one full day. The other reason is only one ranger at the registration desk can handle reservation requests, and the one who could had to leave for several hours when we were wanting to make a change to our reservation. There was another ranger; however, he was only able to check people in. Cades Cove Loop is a beautiful drive. Overall a great stay; we would definitely return.

Phone call to make reservations was cumbersome. Took a long time on the phone to make a reservation. Matter of fact was disconnected on the first phone call and had to start over with the second phone call. Our attempt on the web site went much smoother.Campgrounds were clean, restroom was clean also.

There's only one bathroom for several streets of campers, and its always jam packed.. and there's no showers which makes camping for several days pretty unpleasant. The soap dispensers almost never have soap in them, and the bathrooms are just generally unkempt. The campground itself is nice but the biggest disappointment is the cars on Cades Cove Loop. This loop is one of the most beautiful attractions in all of Tennessee, and its only closed to cars on Wednesdays. When you drive through it, its just one giant boring traffic jam, and its terrible for the environment, and makes for a really lame experience. When we went on Wednesday to hike the loop, their was so much excitement, and people were enjoying the nature and their families. It was awesome, but again, whatever genius in charge decided to reserve only one day for hikers and bikers, when it should be the reverse, made a terrible and costly decision. Its such a shame. This could be one of the biggest attractions in the whole area, if this were the case, but someone making a lot of money decided it would be better for people to drive through and pollute the park, on a daily basis. I would literally come to this campground just for the loop if it were more accessible, but that's not the case.

Wonderful to be able to bike around the loop on a Wednesday with no automobiles. Saw several black bears.

I love the peaceful quietness of Cades Cove Campground. The campground was clean and well-maintained, but I was surprised that no Park Ranger ever drove through. I was also shocked that a motorhome arrived in the wee hours (2-3 a.m.) and parked next to my camper, idling his engine for about 45 minutes. I thought the campground gate would've been closed at that hour.

Our family has camped every fall in Cades Cove Campground for 47 years consecutively, however this year was VERY different! Change is not always for the good, and requiring reservations after October 31 is a terrible change! We also tried to move from our reserved site in C-Section to an available site in B-Section, but the check-in station could not make this change...we would have to go down to Townsend and make these adjustments online!!! This is also something that was completely new :(Due to these changes we werent the happiest of campers! LOLHeads up!!! Make sure you have RESERVATIONS!!!

This is my go to campground when Im traveling in the KY, Tenn area. I never tire of the loop. This time, I got up early and was 8th in line. The dew and early morning chill made it spectacular.
