This was our first camping trip in our RV and we had a wonderful time. The camp sites were large and separated enough for privacy. Halfway around Cades Cove Loop, we took our Bronco onto Parsons Branch Road which was an amazing drive through the mountains and crossing streams.

Stayed here for three nights end of April and loved it. Stayed at the campground, spot C49 and if was perfect, level concrete pad, close enough to bathrooms and plenty of private space around. There is no WiFi or phone service unless you go up to the amphitheater. Saw beats , turkeys and horses. Would stay here again, also at this time of year. Traffic thru the Cove was just busy enough. Wouldnt want to be hear during school breaks

We went in February for a quick one night trip. It was empty except we were right next to a rig with a generator due to low temps. I stopped by the ranger office to check in and they were super helpful in getting us switched up to a different site. Campground and bathrooms were super clean. And the stargazing was unmatched since trees were empty. I keep telling my kids I cant wait to get back to enjoy this place and explore more.

Great sites with convenient location to the park in general.
The concrete pads are a great improvement. The bathroom being heated was also very nice. The repaving of the loop rode was very good. We went on a day hike to Abrams Falls and the improvements to the trail were great. It was our first winter camping trip to Cades Cove and it was much enjoyed. We plan on doing this again.

We went on a nice walk or two. Saw squirrels, deer, and a bear! The campground was perfectly maintained and full but quiet. The store was great. One of our favorite places. We loved the nature trail.

Beautiful area. But was only half full and still overcrowded using the restroom, esp with social distancing, and someone was washing dishes in the bathroom sink because the outside station wasn't turned on. Yuck. Great location to loop and great shop on site - better gift shop than at the Visitor Center so stop here for souvenirs. We were here during torrential downpours and many sites flooded. Ours was fine but many others were not. Absolutely zero cell service until you are in Gatlinburg. Be prepared for crowds everywhere you go - every hike, every stop, everywhere.
We stayed at Cades Cove and Smokemont campgrounds. When we moved to Smokemont we were pleasantly surprised to see that the ranger posted the weather forecast for the week. This was really helpful since there is no cell service at the campgrounds. I'd suggest that Cades Cove do the same.
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
