Great location, very clean. Ride our bikes all over the park. Restrooms were clean. Had breakfast with the deer who came to our site. It was a great stay. Nice trails.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the lack of hand soap in the bathroom located in the campground. Every other bathroom we visited in the rest of the park had hand soap. The campground itself was lovely. Very picturesque in the fall.

I love the vehicle free day to enjoy Cades Cove loop.

Great base camp to stay at when exploring Cades Cove Loop. Has clean restroom and the store close by has everything we needed. I would highly recommend riding a bike on the loop.

Beautiful campground with pretty good privacy between spots. Our site C20 was level but a little tight for our 24’ travel trailer.

My brother and I had side-by-side sites in loop C (19 & 20). They have decent space and are a little more private but the area between is low, so with the recent rains, and two nights of downpours, it was very muddy which was a bit of a headache. Had we not been together, I guess it wouldn't have mattered, as we wouldn't have been walking between but that's something to consider. The camp store, though its very well stocked and has great ice cream, it closes a little early IMO. The first day, we had to drive back to Townsend for firewood bc they were closed, and by the time we got back from our daytime adventures throughout the stay, they were always closed, so go early if you need something. They have bike rentals but they are too expensive to be worth it so bring your own. In the restrooms - TP was kept stocked, and counters were wiped down but there are no mirrors, nothing to dry your hands, very dim lighting, and the room overall (walls & fixtures) look like they're never cleaned. I get that its a campground bathroom but some minor upgrades and better cleaning could go a long way. And they really should invest in some BEAR BOXES. Overall we had a good time and the Cove is beautiful.

This campground is great! The sites are good sized and you are not on top of your neighbors. The location in relation to the Cade's Cove loop is excellent. Without staying here it would be a 30-45 minute drive to the closest campground. When you visit make sure to do the loop early in the morning or last thing at night as the wildlife comes out and you will see significantly more than during the day
