Nice campsite with great location. The fire pit was totally full of ashes so we had to dig out ashes before we could have a fire. I could not find a place to wash our dishes like was available at Elkmont. The ranger we met when checking out was extremely nice and apologetic for the fire pit. The store close to the camp was nice, but pricey. Just couldnt bring myself to pay $7 for ice cream or $45 for a cap.

Campground was clean and well maintained. Nothing fancy, but for its location, just fine. Sites are level and big enough. Convenient to be at the start/end of the loop to do evening and early morning drives. Restrooms, while dated, were adequate. Camp store was well stocked. Will definitely be returning.

C 9 level concrete pad large enough for trailer and truck. Very quiet (no generator loop). Clean bathrooms.

So pretty. Nice staff. I lost my Fanny pack and the staff was super nice to help me find it. Pretty drive. Do it early in the morning before it gets too crowded.

Emergency park closure due to severe weather (wind). No park entry; no camping.
Too much shade for solar users. Restrooms were clean. No Internet or cell service. Going to store, you can get Wifi.

I noticed the improvements, but the main thing is the car free Wednesday!! That is awesome and I pedaled around 3 plus times, able to stop and go to the sights! I absolutely loved it. Also, the other bikers and walkers were mostly orderly and respectful, staying to the right, etc. Thank you to the decision makers. Why not all year long??
Love Cades Cove! I have been camping here ever since I was a kid. Try to make reservations to camp at least once a year but visit many times a year. Love to come in May when the weather isn’t too hot or too cold. I highly recommend camping here. Rangers and volunteers are always helpful and nice to talk to. I recommend just exploring and walking the loop if possible. You get to experience so much more outside your vehicle. Oh and always get an ice cream from the campground store!!!!
Beautiful property, but no ranger station, no visible camp host, and park overcrowding will lead us to other sections of the park. Numerous day visitors using the campground bathrooms which were not so clean to start with. Management presence onsite would have helped alleviate this.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
