It was very nice to have the office staffed, thank you. since there is no cell service in the campground having staff is great.

Terrific campsite! The only negative is during the winter campers with generators are mixed in with tent campers. Generators are allowed into the dark and can begin again early in the morning creating lots of noise at an otherwise tranquil site.

We stayed here the Monday & Tuesday before Thanksgiving. It was not crowded and everything was clean & well cared for. I appreciated the bathrooms with flush toilets. They were never gross or smelly. The area is beautiful and despitherw being a road near by you rarelt heard raod noise. I would highly recommend staying at this site.

Beautiful place, friendly and helpful staff, great hiking and fishing from the campground and close to town if you forget anything.

Camp sites were too close to each other and the attendents were overbearing.

There were a couple outside fountains that were not operating around the A loop, and we arrived a little too late to get firewood from the vendor. Gorgeous scenery and great facilities though!!

no showers is one thing no soap or hand sanitizer in the bathrooms is another. currently they have everyone on top of each other with more than half of the campground closed and the sites are so close that i was able to hear someone snoring from inside my tent. the one trail i went on here was poorly made and labeled and it made me not wanna go on any of the other trails. tried to get firewood and they had the gate locked when ur just supposed to put money in the donation box and it goes by honor system. i really wanted to like this campground, but the 26 miles i had to drive from civilization to there was not worth it.

Nice place. Nice volunteers. Need to get the mud out of the dumping station water pump. Sink water was good and potable, though.

Site F042 with the creek behind us was very Nice. We stayed Oct 29 to Nov 1. The fall foliage was beautiful. Unfortunately it was rainy the first two days. There were not many at the campground. We went to the Cherokee village, Mingo Falls, drove some of the Blue Ridge pkwy. Went up to Kuwohi (Clingmans Dome) The observation deck was closed. It was in the 20's with ice and freezing fog. Pretty neat actually.

For $30 a night, I at least expect soap in the bathrooms, and a working hand dryer. Pretty disappointed that this site had neither.
@roycet0B1BFCD0 · Camped on Oct 27, 2025 at Campsite #F39
very wet this time

Very clean overall. Would like to have a basic trail map. In the RV water and electric hook ups would be nice.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
