Had a great time! Friendly groups near us, knowledgeable staffer in the campground office, and loved that there was a sewage dump and water pump for the RV

Office was closed for the 2 days i was there. Only 1 bathhouse was open in the entire campground but it was clean & functional. Good base camp for activities in the area.

Smokemont is a wonderful family campground and my wife and I cant wait to go back! It has excellent trail access and tent camping there for 4 nights was so relaxing. We also highly recommend the Smokemont riding stables!

Got there when most of the campground sections were still closed for the winter. It was quiet and peaceful and the best time I could have possibly picked. Staff was friendly and helpful and the campground is beautiful.

Clean scenic quiet campground. Wish they would leave the bathrooms open at the back of B loop in the winter though.

Campsites are clean and well kept. Firewood sales were prematurely closed at the stables. My biggest concern I observed while in the park for three nights of camping were the number of reserved sites that were never occupied by campers. I suggest a policy/system of rebooking vacant sites at an allotted time if reservation guest is a no show.

The Rangers were super nice and informative. They also were very active in driving around the campground keeping things in check - which made me (a solo woman, tent camping) feel very safe. The sites were clean and well-kept. Cant wait to come back!

No Water at Site was inconvenient, Beautiful Sites, Staff were very helpful and friendly. nice spots and great scenery

Beautiful 70 degree fall day although it went down to 32 at night. My campsite was close enough to the river to hear it in my tent. The campground is in a beautiful heavily forested mountain glen.

Very clean and accommodating camping area. Lots of things to do around the camp site including hiking, fishing, biking and horseback riding. The sites are large enough to give everyone plenty of space with lots of shade.
