Site 19 across from a dumpster is not ideal for backing a trailer into. Many of these sites are NOT ideal. Campground host was unhelpful. They had no idea who was coming in or leaving. This place would have potential if somebody worked on improvements.

Had a great time, clean site, clean restrooms. A trail guide/info would be nice at the campground. Hooks and a shelf would be nice in the restrooms

We brought our 26 ft. Fifth wheel. The campsites are very small. The street is a one way. Depending on which site you end up with, your door will be facing the road. That is soo not okay. We, and the other couple we were with, drove in the wrong way down the one way road and backed in so our door would open to the campsite where the picnic table and firepit are. Duh!! We got chewed out by the camp host and he said our rig was too big and we should not have booked a site there in the first place. We followed the rules on the website. Information is very poor. There should be an alert for the sites with the door facing the street when booking. Only recommend if you are in a tent or small camper van.

We enjoyed our very brief stay at Desert View CG. The site was clean but sites were very close together. There was nice shade but the trees did interfere with our Starlink reception/connection. We would stay here again as it was very conveniently located to numerous things we wanted to see/do in the Grand Canyon.

Located within Grand Canyon National Park, it offers convenient access to many attractions!

The combination of water restrictions together with temperatures below 32 was something to cope with, but everything else was ok here.

Very clean and quiet campground in a beautiful area. My only concern was that 12 sites were vacant but the campground was full on line and had a full sign posted at entrance. Recreation.org needs a better system to free up campsites that are not being used to other potential campers.

Everything was quite nice. Unfortunately an RV near us continued to run their generator into the late evening and again started it very early in the morning.

Desert View was a great experience. Very quiet , great bathrooms and ease to the rim, especially on the trail right inside the campground. Had a wild horse come to our campsite a couple of mornings which was awesome.

Love this campground. Just right size and away from heavy traffic of canyon corridor area. Services are great. Always great camp host. Quiet and easy access to canyon for views

Assigned a poor campsite and adjoining campers were encroaching on what little space we had. However camp host was very helpful when he saw the situation and was able and kind enough to give us a much better campsite. Thanks to him we had a decent stay!

Excellent campsite with picnic table, fire pit, ample space between site and a nice and professional camp host.

Lovely and well kept campground, with a kind, helpful host. This site was nice, it is a pull through, so easy to pull the camper in and level it. Driveway was fairly level. Nice shade. It had a large tent pad also.

Kent did a great job as camp host!

The site was super clean. The excellent camp hosts greeted us right away, checked us in, and answered all our questions. Campground is a short walk to the Desert View and watch tower area.

I prefer Desert View to Mather Campground due to the easy walk to the canyon and less congestion. It is a more isolated and less crowded campground. Site 42 was excellent. Unfortunately, it was super windy while we were there but still enjoyed the area. It is worth walking out to the canyon for sunset and sunrise!

Always a great experience with the surrounding beauty. Campground Host was very helpful. Some sites are tight but easily still fit our 29 ft Class C. Spent 4 days but no water/bathrooms due to pipe breakage in canyon. But we were prepared so no issues. A couple days were very windy & cold. April can bring any kind of weather so come prepared. We would still highly recommend this site. Watchtower is a must see. Views are spectacular... Very good views of the Colorado River below.

Excellent spot, walking distance to the deli and watch tower.

Very calm, beautiful campsite with direct access to a "private" non-touristic viewpoint of the canyon.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
