10 out of 10. Spacious sites, clean, quiet. I heard someone start up a generator around 8pm and within minutes it went off, so I assume the camp host responded promptly. Nice job.

Desert View Campground was amazing. We stayed (2) nights as part of a more extensive Boy Scout trip. The sites were clean and well situated. The Scouts loved exploring the local trails and seeing the more rustic side of the Grand Canyon.

Away from the bustle of south rim mania. Campground is very nice, not to close and not to far.

What a gem this campground is! Its beautiful, the sites are spacious, kept very neat and clean, quiet and offers a trail to the rim. We loved our stay and will be back but staying longer!

This is a very lovely and quiet campground. The bathroom facilities were impeccable and the campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. We rode our bicycles to the Desert View overlook for the sunset. It was wonderful. We will be back!

Great experience. Chris, the camp host was friendly and informative. Told us about special campground trails that led to fabulous views , minus the crowds. Our large site had a 180 degree view of the woods, with many birds and deer visiting. Site required leveling and did not have a lot of shade for the rv. We managed by repositioning our chairs

Very well maintained small quiet campground. Camp host very congenial and helpful! Take time to stop at scenic viewpoints near Desert view. Sunset from area around Desert View Tower is spectacular!

Camp ground host Alan was the best host I have met at a campground. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave tips on best spots to view the canyon, best times of day and all info needed for the campground. Area very clean and kept. Water source available excellent for drinking and other use. Perfect area and better than a hotel. We will be back again.

This is a great, rustic campground. The biggest concern was that the information is unclear about how they determine the length of your towed trailer. You MUST add the length of the travel trailer and the tow vehicle together to determine the length. We have a 29 foot travel trailer and that is the number I submitted online. I worried that it was incorrect and called recreation.gov and the agent assured me that it was the correct info to submit. When we pulled into the campground, the host was unsure if we would fit. Thankfully, my husband was able to maneuver it in. Make sure you are adding the towed trailer and the tow vehicle when putting the information in the reservation!

Beautiful, low-key spot set right by the rim, perfect for tent campers- and RVs if you got 'em. Lovely campground host Roe made my stay all the more memorable with some inside information.
