Clean and spacious camping for parking car or RVs. Shared restroom with toilets are on site within 5 minutes walking

Great campsites. Walking distance to the rim and the tower. Driving distance to the village and main visitors center about 24 miles. Would definitely camp here again.

The campground was very clean, and the camp host was great! A short walk away from the watchman's tower which is lovely to watch the sunset/sunrise at.

Fred and Kate are Great camp hosts. Nutfield, the golden retriever, was well behaved. Wonderful location. We almost want to keep the place to ourselves, that is how nice it is.

Desert View is always delightful. Great location, within walking distance to the Tower and spectacular views.

The camp host was super nice! Ive been there before and never been told of the secret trail that leads you to a beautiful view of the Colorado river by the camp, this time the camp host told me. It was great! He also shared info about the store close by which I didnt know. The bathrooms were clean and the location cant be beat!

Amazing campsite with a five minute walk to an amazing view of the canyons! Friendly / helpful host, clean facilities & flush toilets!

We came without reservations but cancellations allowed us to stay two nights, though in two different sites. As we were traveling with a camping van, moving was no problem. The campground was laid out such that there was shade available for much of the day on the picnic tables, the trick was knowing when the shade was ideal. We were very happy to have the sites. The viewpoint reachable from the campground was awesome, especially near sunset.

Much quieter than Mather, loved that the Desert View Watchtower was in walking distance.

The advertised pull through was not due to trees making the turn in impossible, but otherwise the camp ground was nice, quiet and safe.

Easy to make reservations, find the location you like, even with photographs of the campsite spot you would like to have. I did a 12 day camping trip from San Diego through Arizona and back down around come in through Joshua tree. Had an amazing time.

Great campground next to grand canyon rim with the desert view. The drive coming here was all worth it! You can also watch the milky way at night if the sky is clear. They also have good 4g coverage during our stay which is pretty cool.
