Love this campground. Just right size and away from heavy traffic of canyon corridor area. Services are great. Always great camp host. Quiet and easy access to canyon for views

It was great, spacious, and we felt like we had the place to ourselves, even when people were around. A beautiful male elk joined us for dinner our last night. He was magnificent and I feel grateful for the entire experience at the campground and the Grand Canyon.

Clean quiet wonderful. The camp host was friendly and helpful. Overall a great place to camp and go exploring from each day.

This campground is great! About 30 minute drive from Grand Canyon Village, but a beautiful drive through the forest, with elk all along the way! Campground is spacious, sites feel private, and bathrooms are well maintained. There's even a dish washing station! Definitely check out the trail near site 46 or 48 - it's a short little flip flop trail that has beautiful views of the canyon including a great view of the river!

Great campground at an amazing location, good bathrooms with running water, the only problem is that there was just one bathroom place for the whole campground.

Whats there to say? An excellent t campground, close to the desert tower, clean bathrooms, quiet and well kept! Wonderful experience!

I would not recommend staying here. The camp hosts were very rude to us and totally unprofessional. After our encounter with them and feeling so unwelcome we packed up our stuff and left waisting two nights that were payed for and our time at the Grand Canyon. They werent accommodating or friendly at all.

Clean, quiet, beautiful location. Fresh spring water available. The campground host was the best ! I would highly recommend it for people that have visited the park before. Be aware that there is no shuttle to the campground so there is some driving needed to reach the popular trail heads. The short hike starting from the last camping spots leads to some amazing views.

This was my favorite campground in the Grand Canyon. The desert view area is one of a kind and was a nice new spot to check out at Grand Canyon National Park.

The Desert View campground was amazing. It's much smaller than the other camping areas at the South Rim, and much less crowded and touristy. And just a short walk to the unmatched views at the Watch Tower. We will always stay on the Desert View side.

This camp should provide several walk-up sites. There were many reserved sites with no one actually camping at them.
