We brought our 26 ft. Fifth wheel. The campsites are very small. The street is a one way. Depending on which site you end up with, your door will be facing the road. That is soo not okay. We, and the other couple we were with, drove in the wrong way down the one way road and backed in so our door would open to the campsite where the picnic table and firepit are. Duh!! We got chewed out by the camp host and he said our rig was too big and we should not have booked a site there in the first place. We followed the rules on the website. Information is very poor. There should be an alert for the sites with the door facing the street when booking. Only recommend if you are in a tent or small camper van.

The site was super clean. The excellent camp hosts greeted us right away, checked us in, and answered all our questions. Campground is a short walk to the Desert View and watch tower area.

The pitches were slightly smaller than at your other sites, most notably Mather (also within the Grand Canyon Park). Poor planning on our part meant that we faced a 50-mile round journey to fulfil our plans. But we still enjoyed our stay - of all the sites we stayed on whilst on our American Southwest adventure, the Recreation.com/government sites were always the best.

Restrooms and other facilities were very clean and well maintained. Trees provided adequate shade. A bit far from the main visitor's center and village, but nice and quiet and a nice place to camp. Easy walk to watch tower and store. Nice having gas station right there.

We had a great experience at the campsite. It is right on the rim of the Grand Canyon so location cant be better, sites are clean and well kept. Bathrooms do the job but no showers.

Very clean. Both hosts were great. Loved the access to water for drinking. The short trail to the rim was great for sunrise.

I had a couple of first experiences during this trip to Grand Canyon. It rained moderately hard for a little more than an hour and my tent proved that it is waterproof. And I had never seen the stars from Grand Canyon. Oh my God! It is burned into my mind forever.

The campground is pristine and park like. The spaces are large with lots of trees, a picnic table and fire pit. It is a lovely, short walk to the Watchtower and edge of the canyon where you can see the water, so beautiful at sunset. The campground treasures were the camp hosts, Fred and Kate. Our first camping trip in our trailer, we were a little stressed and our car died a few spaces from our reserved space. Fred helped us charge our battery, get our car going just enough to roll into our space. Fred helped us figure out what to do next. We forgot sugar for our coffee and Kate shared with us, so what could have been a disaster, turned out to be a fabulous trip thanks to Fred and Kate.

Loved this campground it had wonderful trails around it and was near nice viewpoints. The campground host was very kind and helpful and the actual sites were well maintained. Theres a large sink for washing behind the bathrooms which was a great plus!
