Had a great time, clean site, clean restrooms. A trail guide/info would be nice at the campground. Hooks and a shelf would be nice in the restrooms

This is the hidden gem of campgrounds at GC south. Such a great location away from main roads and noise. Easy walk access to rim from campground. Facilities and service were great and even decent cell service.

Viewpoints suck as Moran , Lipan and Navajo excellent places for Sunrise or sunset

Desert View was a great place to stay because of the large campsites that felt private, great host, clean bathrooms, and dish washing station. Bathrooms and water were not far from our campsite. I would stay there again even though was about 35 minutes from visitor center.

The cleanest car camping site weve ever been to and the walk to the canyon rim from the campsite is great. The volunteer was super friendly and helpful. We used a tent and there were no noise issues at all everyone was super nice during our 3 day stay.

Alan our camp host was just fantastic. Excellent groundskeeper, full of knowledge of the area and we really felt safe. Sites were close but private due to trees and shrubs. Will definitely return again. Nice attractions right on site! Store fully stocked!
