The new campground hosts, Gilbert and Roxanne have really made the campground looking nice again keeping the grass cut and tree branches trimmed that were hitting the tops of campers.

Nice campground with level, paved sites. The restrooms and showers could have used more cleaning and attention.

Beautiful campground. Good amount of space between sites. Grounds and restrooms clean. Tidal river less than 1/4 mile that is great for kayaking or canoeing.

The campground was clean with well-spaced sites. Restroom and shower facilities were clean and modern. Cedar Point has a nice boating access that we were able to use for our kayaks. We got lucky with the weather in late September and had little wind or rain which of course added to our enjoyment. This location is in close proximity to many locations and sites of interest which initially appealed to us and proved to be very convenient to the campground. We definitely plan to return from our far western location in North Carolina next year.

We had a great time. Campground was quiet and clean. Bathhouse was clean. When we arrived we forgot to fill up with water so that was a challenge but a neighbor camper helped us out. There is a walking trail not far from the campground which was beautiful. Definitely will be back again.

Always enjoy our stay at Cedar Point Campground. Nice fire ring with grilling grate & area is quiet.

Site was ok, no complaints. Bathrooms were adequate but dated and grimy with lots of spiders, insects, and frogs. We spend almost all our camping time at public lands so they werent the worst weve seen but definitely towards the bottom of the list. Showers are behind locking doors so extra points for that.

It was a great trip... love this campground. Only suggestion would be to change out the rubber hose for potable water for a plastic or vinyl drinking water hose, so your day tank doesn't taste like rubber.

The host staff are Fabulous, 5 stars!However the facility itself is so need of work.Doors on showers/toilets are way past use.The host staff does NOT have simple tools/equipment to maintain the facility. Some sort of cart buggy 4by4 gator to use to load debris or to disperse travels etc.And most important the power pedestals and electric power to RV's should be inspected. I had site 4 that had 111 volts one leg and 130 volts the other. My RV would could not use this voltage issue. 130 volts can be a safty issue. 111 volts will NOT run equipment, AC nor heater. Site 11 has issues. TIME TO UP GRADE THE POWER OUTPUTS! PERIOD.Luckily for me I was able to move otherwise I could not get refund(didn't want refund if I could even get it, I wanted to camp!) Again thumbs up to the Hosts for there help.Get those folks some transportation and items to upkeep the grounds.Great place!

The campground is usually quiet and peaceful. Very close to many restaurants and shopping. Both Swansboro and Emerald Isle are wonderful. Swansboro for shopping / restaurants and Emerald Isle for beach and other activities. Boating, fishing, kayaking are popular in the area. This facility however has started to neglect maintenance on their bathroom and shower facilities. Leaky toilets, no lock on shower door, metal rusted and sticking out on shower door and cleanliness. The camp host are very nice nice and helpful but repairs are NOT their job.

We had a great stay here. Beautiful area and conveniently located near town. The only issues we had was it was very narrow to get our big rig backed into the site and its not possible to hook up a hose to the water spout. Aside from that we had a great stay and the site was beautiful.

The sides of the walking trails need to be mowed because some parts are getting overgrown. Everything else was great.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
