The sites are some of the largest we've ever stayed and very nice. Lots of birds present, including ospreys that flew over us at our campsite. I'd give it 5 stars except for the one negative of the showers - you can't control the temperature. The showers are sometimes cold, sometimes warm, and sometimes very (too) hot.

It was early in the season but all was quiet. I loved having shade trees in most sites. The shower/ toilet building was clean. I loved listening to the nocturnal birds. The occasional war bird fly over was an added bonus during the day.

Located near areas to explore, nice campsites, restrooms fairly well maintained.

What a great little campground! Very quiet and lots of shade. We never even made it to the beach, as we were enjoying the company of good friends around a campfire. We are local to the area, but friends always stay with their rv when passing thru. This year we decided to join them, along with a few other friends. Bath house clean. Till next year!

For the most part, the stay was fine. But, the showers didn't seem to get cleaned. I saw the same pile of hair in one shower for 3 days.

We were site 35 which used to be 34 A and B . We were to close to 34 A I suggest put it back to 34A and B Other then that great visit

Clean, open, spacious campground with nice bathhouse, easy access to water and electricity. We tented and putting tents up off the grass in the dirt areas as requested was difficult. Be sure to bring a mallet. While the campground was very quiet, road sounds in the distance were significant, probably given the wind direction of when we were there.

Super clean and peaceful

Nice location. Close to amenities but far enough away to be peaceful. Power at each site. Water spigots close by. Spacious, private sites with lantern posts and fire pits.Nice hiking trails nearby.

I gave a bad review because there was only one shower working out of five showers. This was ridiculous. There were no signs on any of the showers as to what the reason were and you didnt know it until you got in the shower and turned it on that it was not working even the handicap shower wasnt working

There was only one shower working out of five showers. The handicap shower was not working either. There was nothing from the host as to why it wasnt working. Never really saw the house the whole time we were there.

Nice quite campground. Visited end of January and the weather was great. Would recommend as the campground had plenty of open electric sites.

Unusual visit in that we had 4 inches of snow while we were there!

Beautiful campground. Large, long sites. Some very private. Some not so much. One campground we will return to.

We use this campground whenever we are through the area, which is usually once a year. It is a nice facility with a decent dump station and nice, paved sites. The nature trail out over the salt marsh is just a delight.Wed love to see a sidewalk from the campground to the day use / trail area to improve safety. And the dump station flush water tower needs a replacement vacuum breaker as it presently offers a very cold shower to the user.

Super nice and clean campground. Not much wood to snag at the campsite but a little stand sells it for $7 a bundle not far down the road. Fire pits are nice and made cooking on our cast iron very easy. The water was great, we kayaked a few miles and walked the entire loop on the trail thats right there. We will be back to do it all over again in the spring of 2025. We were on site 10 and it was good enough to pick it again for next time.

Used this Park for an overnight and arrived after dark. Upon wakening on the morning, we could see this is a very nice campground. Sites are big, level and have electric. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

Nice quiet campground, hiking or biking trails, boat ramp for kayaks or small boats also. Short drive or walk to all activities at state park from campground

Big campground ; had the only pullthrough which was great !! Electric 30A was great ,& showers too. Laundry should be available to all, for a fee (not just hosts)
@RodgerS9D8CDE1 · Camped on Nov 25, 2024 at Campsite #35
Entire campground was well kept and clean. Bath house, while dated, was in good repair and kept spotlessly clean. My only complaint, if it could be called such, is that the timed, push-button showers are a real pain! And besides other campers leaving their bright led lights on all night to be rude and intrusive light pollution, we had a wonderful stay at Cedar Point; so much so that we've already reserved the same campsite this coming spring.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
