The sides of the walking trails need to be mowed because some parts are getting overgrown. Everything else was great.

The camp sites are very nice but that the best thing I can say. Before hand I knew sites didn't have water, but by the map I found there was a water supply right by my site. We got all set up and went to fill my tank, but the water spigot is not designed to connect a common hose to. SO NOT WATER for the weekend. After walking the camp ground the sites in the back do have spigots you can connect a hose to in various locations. And there is one at the dump station area.Now for the bath house. My daughter saw a rat run into a hole behind the middle stall. Also if you like to have warm water or even control the water temp, these showers do not have this option. You have to press a button and you get what you get. Plus this bath house was not keep very clean.Two weeks before our stay I tried to get ahold of staff to ask some question. If they would have answered their phone maybe I would have known about the water hook up options. There is a camper there marked "Camp Hoist" but never saw them or any staff the stay. We ended up leaving a day early. After this being a 6 hour drive to get there, I probably will not be back.

This is by far my favorite campground! I love that its close to the water because I always bring my kayak with me. They have a boat ramp that works great for my kayak trailer but I have seen some boats get stuck in the mud at low tide near the ramp. Its ok at high tide. I love this place!

The restrooms and showers are not well maintained. Pretty much all of the potable water faucets were broken. The campsites are clean.

The park is nice and close to Emerald Isle but the bathrooms are filthy and need maintenance.

We have camped here twice, quiet big sites, close to beach and shopping. On our last visit previous camper left dog waste on site and about midnight our neighbors decided to argue and fight, like the park and area will use frequently.

We have stayed here many times. One of our favorite local places to stay a few days. The camp hosts were doing a good job keeping it clean. A very quiet place to stay. We didnt get to take the marsh hike as usual due to the very hot temperatures.

Just wish they had full hookups

It was a very hot week (mid 90s) for my middle school group to be camping. We usually book sites 1-5 to stay out of the general publics way. I do wish these sites had more shade but it is nice that I have a visual of the kids tents from my site. The bathrooms and showers were not clean and were out of soap when we arrived but thankfully they were freshened up that night. I would really like an option of using cold water. Brushing teeth in hot water and showering in hot water was awful when it was so hot outside. Kids had a good time and we liked having easy access to a hiking trail and the water access for canoeing. We'll be back in three years! :)

Showers and toilets were not cleaned. Out of 4 showers 1 was out of order and 1 didnt have a lock. We have been camping at Cedar Point for the past 4 years and this year the lack of maintenance is very noticeable.

I like camping here. Can be at the beach in a few minutes.

The overall experience was very positive. If there was anything negative it would be the cleanliness of the bath house. It needed a lot of attention and did not feel very clean. This is contrary to my previous visits when the bath house has been just nothing short of immaculate. Camp host was very helpful and friendly. I did get to meet the new camp host and he seems like a very good guy. I look forward to coming back soon.

Nice campground but Host was nowhere to be found on the first day.She did not show up until dark. Grass had not been cut in weeks.I was there for a week and on my sixth day they only mowed the Host campsite.

Had a great trip but spoke to Cole the manager at New Bern He was supposed to help me get my refund on the visit I had in 5/18 there was no camp host so there was a change approved but I was still charged for 2 sites. I am on SS so every little bit helps

Peaceful, beautiful campground with level, paved sites near the Emerald Isle and northern outer banks coast. 3 miles from Food Lion, 40 minutes from Beaufort NC and the ferry to Shackleford Banks and Cape Lookout. Second time staying here - sites have power (experienced some brown outs) and water faucets in campground, but not at individual sites.

The sites were well spaced, level, and wooded. The bathhouses and grounds were very clean despite their age. The campground overall was peaceful and quiet. The trails in the national forest were stunning. Would highly recommend this campground.

We arrived to find the previous campers were still in our reserved spot. The camp host was awesome about it and put us in a first come first serve site that was better then our reserved site so we were happy about that. The other campers actually stayed two additional nights at our reserved site which was something that has never happened to us in almost 10 years of camping. Not sure if they paid or just stayed two additional nights for free. I hope this is not a trend that we see in the future cause it is ridiculous and people need to have their camper towed away for it. Other than that everything was good at Cedat Point as usual.

We stayed at the campground from Charleston on our way to Nags Head. We spent 5 nights here. The marsh trail was beautiful but mosquitoes were plentiful. The showers were not very clean but functional. Only saw the host once outside their camper. No rangers were present. Sites are far apart and most are plenty long for big rigs. Potable water is available through out the campground and electricity was available at our site (4).

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
