The sites are some of the largest we've ever stayed and very nice. Lots of birds present, including ospreys that flew over us at our campsite. I'd give it 5 stars except for the one negative of the showers - you can't control the temperature. The showers are sometimes cold, sometimes warm, and sometimes very (too) hot.

It's a nicely laid out campground with large lots and big grassy areas. The bathrooms were clean. It's convenient to a hiking/biking trail and close to everything in Emerald Isle. We would stay there again!!

First visit to this campground. Loved the space between camp sites. Grounds were clean. Nice area to hike or bike. Showers had no temperature adjustment and on site water would have been nice. Overall, enjoyed stay and would visit again.

NIce well kept campground.....stayed on site 7 and was shaded.....bath houses are clean.....talked with both host and they were nice and answered all questions.....only drawback is water spigot was broken and taped with duct tape..... will be coming back

My favorite campground! Well laid out, well kept, just 2 miles from the ocean, beautiful boardwalk trails!

Sites are level and well maintained. Hose bibs were missing from water hydrants. USFS should consider installing frost free hydrants.Showers are timed. Shower rooms have no heat. Bathrooms are heated and clean.

Nice little campground full of nice folks. There's a lake a short distance away with a dock and hiking trails. Shower stayed hot as long as I was in it and bathrooms were cleaner than most I've seen. Overall not a complaint to mention.

Love the area, the hosts are very helpful. The campground is great. My only criticism is that there is no heat in the bathrooms or in the showers. This should be addressed.

Excellent campgrounds clean and well managed hostess where very helpful. Good kayaking and biking areas close by.
