This is a beautiful campground, and we have been there many times. There was an electrical problem at the post that was reported to the campground host. A response from her would certainly have been appreciated, but the next few days we heard nothing. No doubt it takes time to get these things done, so we left a note for the next camper and hope they found the electric in working order. We will return again as it is a favorite with us.

Big campground ; had the only pullthrough which was great !! Electric 30A was great ,& showers too. Laundry should be available to all, for a fee (not just hosts)

Nice little campground just a couple miles from Emerald Isle Beach. Sites are roomy, shady, and well maintained. We had pull-through site 20 which is described in Rec.gov as sharing a picnic table with site 19 but it does not. Sites are electric only but there are water spigots at several points along the CG loop as well as a fill at the dump station. Camp Host Robbie was very friendly and helpful and aware of all activity within the CG. Restrooms are clean. If our travels take us back to the coast of NC we will certainly stay here again.

We stayed in site #20. It is the only pull-thru and is quite private and large. It is an electric only site. Friendly camp host. Roads are easy to navigate. Streaming with AT&T can be a bit sluggish but watchable. About an hour from Cape Lookout National Seashore. Plenty of breweries in the area. Convenient to shopping.

The campground seemed quite neglected this time. My electric box was leaning over, covered in garbage bags & duck tape. The fire pit was filled with ash, half-burned wood and a bag of garbage. Leaves and debris covered the entire site. In my opinion, highway noise and music from a local neighborhood, along with frequent military jet flyovers ruined the natural environment.

Nice big spots with space between sites. Has electric and easy access to water near dump station to fill tanks. Just wish the showers had heat like the bathrooms. Nice Tideland Trail. Would come back.

Cedar Point Campground is an excellent place to spend time. Owls provide a lovely lullaby as one falls asleep each night. The nearby trail through the wetlands is gorgeous. How marvelous of the Department of Agriculture to manage such places as this campground in the Croatan National Forest so that all of us can enjoy the splendor and healing of being out in the natural world.

Clean bathrooms, hot showers, irregular presence of camp hosts was unfortunate, we were a day late and had to wait while an unauthorized person slowly left our reserved campsite.

Clean, compact yet with reasonable privacy. Nice trails. By-in-large quite, lots of dogs at the time. Noisy during day. Nice trails. Easy access to local shopping ad 15 mins to Atlantic beaches.

The campground was pristine. The bath house was very well kept. Tony the caretaker, was very friendly and helpful and appeared to be very attentive to the grounds ...although he was apparently working very hard in the heat, he took a moment to make us feel welcome.

My family enjoyed our stay at Cedar Point Rec area in our travel trailer. We thought not having water at the site would be an issue. We filled our fresh water tank at the access near the dump station/ trash area and ended up having to drain it before we left to go home, For us, water was not an issue.

The campground was very quiet and relaxed. We enjoyed site 20 (a pull-thru site) and felt we had plenty of room for the children to play. We enjoyed being so close to Emerald Isle and visited many of our favorite places while we were there. We will be back soon!

Sites are big, clean and spacious. Grounds are kept up. Camphosts were available at check in. Walking distance to the walking trail. Only amenity is the bathroom which were in the worst condition I have seen in the 5 years I have been camping at Cedar Point. The showers are not only in need of upkeep but the cleaning left alot to be desired as well. I hope the next time I camp I find they are back to the pristine condition of the past 4 years. Speed limit and vehicle direction not being enforced as it was.
