This is by far my favorite campground! I love that its close to the water because I always bring my kayak with me. They have a boat ramp that works great for my kayak trailer but I have seen some boats get stuck in the mud at low tide near the ramp. Its ok at high tide. I love this place!

Beautiful campground. Large, long sites. Some very private. Some not so much. One campground we will return to.

Super nice and clean campground. Not much wood to snag at the campsite but a little stand sells it for $7 a bundle not far down the road. Fire pits are nice and made cooking on our cast iron very easy. The water was great, we kayaked a few miles and walked the entire loop on the trail thats right there. We will be back to do it all over again in the spring of 2025. We were on site 10 and it was good enough to pick it again for next time.

We had a good site (10) with privacy and a nice asphalt parking pad. Electricity was good and kept us warm in the cold nights. I was surprised how full the campsite was on a Monday at the end of November! 10miles away were miles and miles of Empty beach!

A very clean campground that is nicely located with its own hiking trail and a short drive to the beach or the cute town of Swansboro. We could not get power via the 30 amp socket in site 10 but used a dog bone off the 50 amp and had power.

Love this place , great private sites with awesome trails and boardwalks. Went swimming indoors in Carteret, biking to Emerald Isles and kayaking to Swansboro. Two weeks went so fast. Only bad thing no hot showers. Which is huge.

Although we rate the campground as very good, we thought the bathhouse was only a good. They were clean and better than adequate.

Nice place with electric hookups. Excellent kayaking just a short walk down the road or elsewhere in the area. Beach is a short drive away.

Be advised that you're not supposed to pull up to a water spigot along the road, to fill your RV. You're supposed to go to the one by the dump station. This is so you don't block the road while getting water. Understandable, but... A sign at the entrance would be VERY useful. The host chasing you off, to go somewhere else for water, when you've been on the road all day, doesn't make for a great start to your stay.

The campground is very nice and very well kept, the bathrooms are clean. Unfortunately, the near-by road (highway 58) is very noisy at night, which is a bit of a problem for tent campers but not so much for RVs.. it is conveniently located, not too far a driving distance to the beach and close to amenities and there is a very hiking trail over the swamp near-bythere is not much privacy between sites, which is something I also normally appreciate.

Beautiful campground with very large sites offering lots of privacy and quiet. The property is exceptionally well kept and maintained, Park hosts were very friendly and helpful. Very nice to have hosts that are visible, welcome your questions or kindly offer help if needed. Electric hookups are available, water and waste service is clearly marked with easy access.Had strong Verizon 5G signal.

We love Cedar Point Camp Ground and go there about four times a year. Good space between most sites. Lots of trees. We would like to see water at each site!!! Adding sewer connections and water would make it perfect. I think most people would be willing to pay more for this luxury too. Great place.

Cedar Point Campground is tucked away not far from the town of Cedar Point and Swansboro, NC. Most outside sites have long drive and offer some privacy. Each RV site includes electricity but no water or sewer. There are several areas within the park where potable water is available to fill tank and "dump" station is easy to find when needed. Campers can hear the "big guns" associated with the Marine base nearby but it didn't bother us and other than that, it was quite peaceful and pleasant. We always enjoy our time at Cedar Point.
