This campground was nicely located near all the amenities one would want. The campground itself was very clean and it was very quiet, spacious not crowded at all. The facilities are a bit older, but in good condition, it appears they have updated their water distribution system, and the water quality appears to be very good. The only odd occurrence was the occasional noise of blasting most likely from an open pit or maybe even some military exercises Outside of that it was a great place to stay.

Very nice campground, clean facilities and power to run my heater. Camp host were right across from me. I didnt bother them. They didnt bother me. Thats the way I like it. I will definitely go back.

Very nice little campground. Well spaced sites,plenty of privacy, most with some/lots of shade. Restrooms and showers, while clean, are getting a bit long in the tooth and will soon need an upgrade. On our last visit there was no hot water in men's.restroom. Shower was ok though. Camp cat, friendliest feline ever.

Very nice and tidy campground. Although the area is free of vegetation, there is plenty of space between sites, so privacy is not an issue. Clean toilets and showers. An easy to solve detail, there was no QR code to pay on site. A more difficult problem is that, if you want to explore the area on your last day, once you check out, there is no space to park your vehicle, so you are out. The number of sites is limited.

Great campground close to town for services. Diana was great at sorting out the bookings. Water was turned off at satellite sites but we made do with getting water at the Sani station and water refill.

Very nice campground! Theres lots of green space for each campsite, showers, flushing toilets, and electric hookups. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely camp there again.

We stayed at site 12 with a truck/tent setup. Overall experience here was really good. Electrical hookups worked as needed. Site was clean and ring, table, and post were in working order. Bathroom facilities were okay, nothing glamorous and spotless, but decent to brush teeth, wash hands, and use the flushing toilets. We didn't use the showers but they looked usable.Noise was a little louder than normal at night. Since were weren't in a camper like most at the campsite, the road noise from loud truck exhausts, and motorcycles were noticeable despite a sound machine and fan in the tent.Host was onsite and taking rounds often, but didn't bother anyone directly. Potable water was close by and this site felt private.

Beautiful campground, large sites, great trail and clean showers. Our only problem was w/ a pit bull running loose that attacked another person's dog and a large dog on a very long leash that was quite threatening to anybody who accidentally came too close, even just walking on the road by the site.

Spacious sites, quiet, peaceful setting, great hiking trail nearby, and just a short drive to emerald isle beaches. Hot showers and heated bathrooms were appreciated. Would definitely visit again!

My husband and I have camped at Cedar Point Campground many times. The campground was very well manicured and the restrooms were clean and well equipped. We love camping at Cedar Point!

Beautiful campground and lovely hosts. Secluded and at the same time very convenient. The trails through the marsh are wonderful as was the sunset over the inlet.

What a sweet campground! Large sites, beautiful trees, nice bathroom and kayaking and hiking very near. Quiet and mostly dark at night. I plan to return.

I love this campground. The campsites are spacious and shady while being close enough to provide a sense of security and community. The campsites, restrooms, and showers were all clean and well-maintained. I look forward to returning here again next summer.

Very quiet and clean. The campsites are large and level. The bathhouse was clean and well maintained. Hiking near the campground is interesting with beautiful birds and an easy to access boardwalk. The Canal Trail unique. The hosts we're informative and readily available.

I loved the campground & the surrounding area. Your host Jeff was the worst host I have experienced in any of the National Parks that I have been to. He was unfriendly & not very helpful. It was as if he resented being there. I will come back at some point & hopefully Jeff will have found something he likes to do.
