Good clean and quiet place to camp. Enjoyed our stay a great deal and did not want to leave. We will definitely be going back in the future.

Very nice campground with large sites. The sites were not right on top of each other. The bath facilities were fine, showers were hot but you couldn't control the temperature and it was a push button that kept the water on for a minute or two each time it was pressed. This isn't a complaint but an observation. We were camping after all. No water or sewer hookups on the individual sites but water and dump station was conveniently located.

This was our first time camping here. We have family in the area and will be back. Very clean and pleasant campground. Restrooms and showers were clean.

Always enjoy going to Cedar Point Campground. Sites are spread out, and it is quiet there if you want to sit outside and listen to the birds.

Not enough words….I planned a 2 week camping trip from TX to NC to visit the area near my birthplace. I planned 6 days, not knowing if the campground would even be nice, let alone the unknowns over a 3 day holiday weekend. I was so happy that I was able to stay 2 days longer, and wasn’t ready to leave when it was time to start making my way back to TX. One of the camp hosts (Michele) made me feel SO welcome, and personally checked on me every day, knowing I was camping alone. The park was well cared for, and that lady was a mowing machine! She even knew how to fix the mower when it gave her trouble. She really took her host responsibilities seriously and personally. She CARED about the experience of all campers, and definitely took pride in the work she did to keep everything clean and nice. The other hosts (Bob and Denise) were kind and friendly. All 3 hosts worked their tails off to keep the grounds clean and maintained. They cared enough to enforce quiet hours, which was SO nice. Being a hammock and tent camper, it was such a relief to know that the comings/goings of other campers weren’t disruptive. The care and attention shown at this campground was awesome. I was even greeted by the ranger, Mr. Knight. My experience at this place has me really looking forward to booking again next summer, and it was so great to feel at home.

Beautiful location, large sites. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The bathhouses could use some updating. The marsh boardwalk trails were very nice. Camp host was friendly.

Great campground, spacious sites with electric. Dump station and potable water for filling. Water hydrants available at intervals around the campground for extra water. Asphalt road and parking pads. Gravel under picnic table and fire rings. Long sites for most any size rig. Heated clean bathrooms. Showers aren't heated, but the water is plenty hot. We love this national forest campground and have even co-hosted here. Close to waterway day area with trails.
