Nice location. Close to amenities but far enough away to be peaceful. Power at each site. Water spigots close by. Spacious, private sites with lantern posts and fire pits.Nice hiking trails nearby.

Used this Park for an overnight and arrived after dark. Upon wakening on the morning, we could see this is a very nice campground. Sites are big, level and have electric. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

This is really a very beautiful park which could use some updates and there are some fun activities to take in.fishing, swimming and hiking are all excellentOne of the things visitors need to be aware of is that ticks, yes ticks, infest the campsites. I know that sounds strange, but Ive been to dozens of parks and this is the first time Ive ever run across ticks in a park. They might consider some insecticide spreading on the campgrounds.

Nice, beautiful, clean campground. Sites are a good size, not huge, but big, with privacy. Easy access to the river for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, or canoeing.

Enjoyed walking the trails and visiting the beach 15 minutes away.

The one shower to the left of the handicapped stall does have a good water flow and the water is hot. The other showers, including the handicapped stall, have very small and poor water streams and the water does not get even very warm.

Small and very nice campground near Emerald Isle and the beaches. Secluded in the Croatan Forest and near the marsh. No more mosquitoes by the end of October. Clean bathrooms. Very nice host.

If you want quiet this is your spot. Clean and well kept. The Host “Michele” was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Will be back sooner than later. These are all only electric sites but have a dump station and fresh water fill area

Cedar Point is one of our favorite campgrounds. Beautiful sites and convenient to beach and shopping.

Very nice walking/riding trails. Many sites with electric hook-up. No sewer or water hook-up available. Nice quiet atmosphere.

Nice place, good nature trails, showers ok,could have been a little cleaner and water could have been a little warmer for comfort. Quiet place, friendly people. Our second time here but will do again.

Loved the place. Very clean and maintained. The only thing that was inconvenient is the individual water faucets would not allow a hose to be connected to fill our camper tank. There is only one water source near the dump station that can be used to fill rv tanks.

Will camp here again for sure.

Always a great campground to stay in when we visit the coast. Great trails to hike and always nice and quite and relaxing. If your in the area with your camper you better stay here.

We loved the campground. We had privacy and we were close to the hot showers and bathrooms, close to stores and Emerald Isle, we boated and fished and drove on the beach several times. The host was very nice. The camp sites were clean, level, well kept. We enjoyed cooking on the fire ring. The only con was we woke up to what sounded like bombing practice on Wed. morning from the local air force base. Other than that we had a fantastic time and will make return trips.

Had site 24 for three nights. Very quiet and well maintained campground. Restrooms very clean. Host was very accommodating and offered suggestions for hiking and sunset watching. Wish there was water at every site for RV hookup but not a big deal. Just be sure to make the loop around the campground to fill your water tank before occupying site. Be sure to watch the sunset over the nearby river and take the hike through the marshland. Excellent bird watching.
