Quiet, beautiful campground. The lady checking me in and out was very friendly and helpful. This is on my list and a favorite COE campground.

Nice campground. Only complaint was the site was not wide enough for the steps to sit on level ground. Site 108.

The camp ground was very clean . The bathroom and shower house were both cleaned and stocked and the check-in hostess was very nice and seemed happy we were camping here. We have already booked again for next month.

Another great stay at R Shaefer Heard. Camp host at check in was excellent. Our site was very nice. First trip out with our new RV ( stayed here in the past with our previous RV) . We enjoy weekday camping at this park. Its a three hour drive from our home but is worth it.

This has become my favorite campground that is less than two hours away. Almost all of the sites are on the water and a lot of them are private. The campground hosts are always friendly and helpful. I did not give it five stars because the restrooms could use a little updating!

What a beautiful campground. Nice and shady and well kept. Our first COE experience and it was a very positive one. Have never stayed somewhere without full hook up, so we were a little apprehensive (we stayed 4 nights) We made some adjustments to our daily routines and did just fine. Using the (double sided) dump station on the way out was a breeze. Our site was #72. Very shady and a nice view of the lake, although it was a bit tricky backing in (narrow with a bit of a curve and moderate grade) Will probably choose a different site next time, but we will be back. The staff checking us in and out were very nice and helpful.

We love going to this park and camping and enjoying the lake. Clean, quiet, and a level camping spot overlooking the lake....what else can you ask for!!!!

We stayed for a one night stop while passing through. The pine pollen was bad while we were here.

Great roads and camper pads, well thought out and kept. Worst restrooms I have encountered! Since there is not sewer at the campsite, the bath house is more important if you are staying more that a couple of days. In the 2 restrooms I tried, only one shower out of three had hot water. The toilet in my area was clogged from Tuesday morning to Thursday afternoon even though it was cleaned each day. They just cleaned the floor and left. We are not likely to revisit.

This park has always been so quite and clean and one of my favorites! However, I was disappointed in the cleanliness and upkeep of my past trip. My site and many other sites I visited during my stay were not clean. There was a good bit of trash and litter left over from previous campers that was not picked up when I arrived. Additionally, it was quite loud with music well into the night. With that being said, I love this park and will be back.

Ive stayed at this campground several times over the years, and keep coming back. I hate to say it, but this was my least favorite spot up to now. Most sites are Lake front, but this one has a lovely view of the boat ramp parking lot. I got it because it was a pull through. I knew Id be getting in after dark, and I thought it would simplify things. I was wrong. I tow a 30 fifth wheel and this spot is in curve towards the left. There is a small retaining wall along the drivers side, right at hub cap height. Even though I tried to hug the right side of the space, the angle was too sharp and I got hung up on the little wall. Getting out was even worse because the front has a bit of a drop off. Theres just not enough room to maneuver around that little wall. A smaller camper would be fine, but not the 40 thats supposed to fit. That said, the people are always friendly and the facilities clean and well-cared for. I will be back, just not at site 66.

This park is absolutely beautiful! We stayed at site 42, which offered a gorgeous sunset view over the lake. However, there was a significant water leak at the site, creating a very large puddle over a large portion of the site. We reported it to the attendant, and if we had been staying longer than one night, we would have requested a different site. Despite this minor issue, we enjoyed our visit and would definitely return. The parks scenery make it a perfect destination!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
