Our visit was peaceful as always. The area was clean. The attendants were friendly. I will be back again to camp out.

The park is very clean and organized, although there were quite a few long legged spiders in the bath house! When camping, nature is inevitable!! The camp host were helpful when we asked to relocate to another site (the picnic table and fire ring were on the opposite side of our camper door), and made the transition very easy. Although the lake was drained as a seasonal operation, we enjoyed finding things in the sand, and seeing what sort of paw prints were made during the night.

The park is beginning to have Kudzo . I let them know last year. This year it is even worse. It would just take a tiny bit of precaution at this point to get it so the park is not ruined. I have camped here my entire life. It seems very negligent to not take care of this issue before it turns into something large and as well as beauty of the park as well as the trees.

Rude front office staff...we arrived at 830, office was closed so we went on to our site and set up as we were tent camping. Extreme storms came, lightening, hail, thunder and intense rain! The old gentleman came to our site and called my phone he was very rude! as we were holding down the canopy and trying to save our belongings from blowing away insisting that we leave and come check in. Not very considerate or friendly. Terrible experience..

Site was not wide enough to put down steps and be level, very un level site, beautiful view.

Clean sites, great water views, super weird utility hookups-just barely able to connect the power to the box In front of the camper, narrow camper pads, lady in the office was rather snappish when speaking with us. Overall we loved the lake view and the fishing, we will be back.
