We had a great time on our first camping trip! Just some tidbits for others coming to this site though, we did have a yellow jacket attack our first night, they had made a home in the stairs leading to the lake and didnt come attack us until we had been going up and down them for a while, we sprayed them but they could return. The sun does beat down on the area from about 11 until 7 so bring a extra way to have shade because it gets hot fast and we saw what could be the largest wild snake (Red Bull can size in thickness or more) I have ever seen in my life going from the bushes across the stairs to the right but it kept moving thankfully, I couldnt tell the kind but just be aware. Also there is a sweet raccoon that will come eat any and all snacks left out, including all your smores supplies lol! Overall it is a good site if you are prepared for the sun, keep an eye out for snakes in the brush along the bank and be aware of the yellow jackets possibly coming back to the stairs. The driveway is very steep also. Attendants are very kind and did call a park ranger to help us with the yellow jackets. First time camping with lots of memories! Cant wait to return!

Beautiful, spacious park. We stayed on lot 27. The description said it had a significant grade down to the lot, so we were worried our motorhome might scrape backing down, but it was actually not bad and we didn't scrape at all. The lot was perfectly level on concrete, nothing needed. We were right at the lake's edge, which looks to be common for most if not all sites. There is a lot of privacy and space for each lot, and you're feet away from the lake. The lake is currently being maintained so the water level was low, but this would be even more amazing with the lake up to normal levels. Still, it was beautiful, and has a lot of area to also walk and hike in. We recommend!

The site was very short for a 30 ft fifth wheel ,other than that it was good.
