The platform for tents and everything else is attached to a STEEP hill. It could use a set of stairs or get regraded. I know it's camping but there were TONS of spiders. None of them venomous but still didn't expect that many. I think the site needs to be re-evaluated. But overall, it wasn't terrible.

We had a good time, the attendants and the volunteers were awesome and the restrooms were very clean. The only problem we had was the amount of bugs at night. Our entire doors and windows were completely covered in bugs. I used a leaf blower to clear up the door before going inside!

Holiday is always a great trip especially the 1 through 15 camping spots . # 14 is sort of spread out but still enjoyable . Theres plenty of space between sites and some well placed trees and shrubs .

Site 85: Great site with a lot of room to move around and your own private peninsula. The map position is not accurate. You get some protection from the wind and more privacy than the electric/water sites but still very close to the water. Great clean park and restrooms were kept up nicely. Can't wait to go back!

The site was fine. Our neighbors were blasting music almost the whole time. Even after turning it down. Surprised it was allowed,

Always a pleasure to camp here. A couple things that do concern me is the number of kids riding electric bikes well over the speed limit. My family camped at site 73 in Holiday Park and a huge dead pine tree is leaning heavily towards where the campers park. This has the potential to be a trajedy when it falls which will be soon. I messaged the Corp of engineers with a picture of the tree and the location but didnt get a response back. I hope someone reads this and acts accordingly before this situation ruins someones camping trip and possibly serious injuries.

Beautiful campground that is kept clean. Attendants were friendly at check in and check out. Only recommendation I would have is to make bathrooms windows darker so no one can see in especially at night. Not sure if all were like this but the one near our campsite(25) no longer has a partition and the toilet is across from the window. It is a blurred window but you can definitely tell someone is in there(me and my husband tested it, LOL)! Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing get away and will definitely be back!

The Folks at the front gate went above and beyond. Including the Ranger Supervisor. On our first night in the campground my M-I-L had to go to the hospital in Lagrange. The host came and checked on us that night and twice the next few days. We thought we needed to stay longer so they set us up with another open campsite. Turned out we went home Tuesday and they refunded the nights we did not stay. This was a great experience.

Site was perfect right on the lake. A little uneven but handled easily. The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't use my 30 to 50 Amp adapter because of the way the box was setup. I had to go to LaGrange WalMart to buy a new one that wasn't going be restricted by the edges. Other than that we loved the peaceful beautiful campground. Definitely will come back.

Excellent experience. Enjoyed the view of the lake and sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows. Very relaxing and peaceful. Enjoyed watching other campers catching fish from the shore and kayaking.

Love this campground and will return. Camp host told me at check-in that he had treated ant hills the day before our arrival. Ants were still present everywhere. Went back to report to him and was told he didnt have anymore granules and hed report it to the Corp of Engineers who runs facility. I went to Walmart and treated the ant hills myself. Never saw the corp of engineers all weekend. Not complaining as this is expected during camping, just explaining why I didnt go 5 stars. I truly hope the govt shutdown gets resolved soon so we can go camping again and you guys can get paid.Tony Teasley

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
