We enjoyed ourselves. Much needed time away

Site and facilities were clean and well maintained. COE campgrounds during weekdays tend to be quiet and Holiday is no exception. One of our favorites.

Had a great weekend with family and friends! #97 was a great spot, level, and easy access for getting in/out of our boat.

Everything was clean when we arrived at our campsite.

We were at site 95 and it was secluded but lots of room for our camper boat and jet skis. We had an awesome time. The people at the gate were friendly and very helpful. And even gave my grandson an activity sheet to do.

We have been camping here for 20 years. The park is beautiful. My only complaint is that a lot of these sites need up grades. Mainly parking pads, picnic tables etc. The restrooms need a total gutting out and refurbished. The buildings are fine but the interiors look 3rd world with cracked walls rusty sinks and toilets. They are clean though. Im trying to find out where the funding comes from for Corp lakes and see what can be done.The hosts are great and very helpful.

Nice park with most sites on the water. Loops have plenty of bathrooms and bath houses are centrally located. Both are cleaned daily. Plenty of dumpsters throughout the park for trash disposal. Several play areas throughout the park but the tennis court has deteriorated to the point its unusable. The fence has several holes, leaves are not blown out of the court, and the concrete has cracked leaving gravel everywhere. Lots of extra parking everywhere but largely remained unused with people parking the vehicles and boat trailers on the grass. 2 boat launches. Not all sites have the same amenities so check the site description. Only one host on duty at any given time. Considering the size of the park it could use several hosts. Overall, a nice park just needs some attention.

Site is close to restroom, easy walk to showers and dumpster. Gets full sun all day (not a lot shade), large grass area for lawn games, easy water access.

I had spot 55 and it was perfect! Lake view, shade, sun, trees, restrooms in the cul-de-sac, clean campsite, and a beautiful way to spend the weekend!
@NancyP1507084 · Camped on Apr 25, 2025 at Campsite #92
Shaded sites with views of the lake. The path down to the beach area has a moderate incline. Site 92 being right across from the bathroom was bathed in bright lights at night. Is this really necessary? The site behind us is somewhat close, but the site in front of us was out of site. Riding the campground roads and up to the COE up the road will give you a ten mile bike ride.

We always have a great time when we stay at Holiday. We stay a couple times a year. The only negative I can think of is that they need more bathrooms. They're pretty far to walk to from a lot of the sites.

Nice campground with large sites. Many are not level and several could use some upgrades. Beautiful, though with many sites on the water. Wouldcertainly return.

Whenever we are in the LaGrange area we always stay at West Point Lake. Great RV sites with beautiful lake views.

Holiday Campground is an excellent and many sites are on the water and they are spaced apart for some privacy. I highly recommend this campground.

Lovely wooded area with large campsites, fire ring and patio. Very quiet and no ambient light to ruin star gazing. There were a lot of other campers but there was no loud music or noise coming from other sites, even the ones with young children. The campsites are well spaced for privacy.

Great Beautiful Campsite and Fishing is great!

Very nice campsites included plenty of room for an extra-large dog pen, privacy if you want it and gorgeous views of Lake West Point. The volunteer hosts were very knowledgeable and friendly while keeping things in line. The entire facility was well maintained with clean campsites and restrooms. We have already scheduled a weekend for next month!A&J Woodbury, GA

Great location for me, 2hr outside Atlanta. View was excellent. Not crowded on weekdays. Clean sites. The bathrooms, though showing age, were fully functional, clean and stocked ad hot water. For better or worse, cell service was good and antennae reception for tv was adequate. A tennis court was available with a new net for any number of games, though the court was well past 'used by' date. Another area has a rustic swing set, yet another had the a basketball court ready to use. Plenty of ramps for boats all over the park. Site 4 was very flat and had plenty of adjacent extra green space and extra parking directly behind.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
