Amity Campground in Chambers County is located 51 min northeast of Auburn, AL with an elevation of 737 feet. There are a total of 96 campsites including 3 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from the end of March to the beginning of September. 72 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 38 and 55 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 67 sites have electric and water hookups. 5 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $34.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Camp sites are great, most waterfront and spaced apart. Grounds were well maintained. Hosts were great. Bathrooms and showers were terrible. Lanett close by for supplies and eating out.

WE LOVE LOVE THIS COE CAMPGROUND. THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME STAYING AT AMITY. WE LOVE THE QUIET AND SECLUDED CAMPING SITES FOR OUR GETAWAYS. THE ONLY COMPLAINT THATI MIGHT HAVE AND IT WASN'T HORRIBLE BUT THE BATHHOUSE WAS NOT CLEANED AS OFTEN AS ITHAD BEEN ON OUR FIRST VISIT. WE CAN'T WAIT FOR OUR NEXT VISIT!

Loved the proximity to the water. Great for swimming. Nice and shady. However our site had dog turds everywhere! The weeds and grass were way over due for a cut. The distance from the bath house & bathroom were good.

This is our 3rd year coming to Amity. We love it. This year was the first year that I needed to voice a complaint. The grass EVERYWHERE needed to be cut. Our lot was very overgrown at the lakeside and it made for uncomfortable walking or sitting. The walking paths werent cut either so we didnt get to walk the dogs. The camp hosts were wonderful and very informative. Everything else was perfect.

Great campground - beautiful water front lots with space between neighbors. Camp hosts and all volunteers we came across were super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to plan another trip soon!

I only stayed one night in the tent only area. The restroom at that location had no showers or power. The closest shower was quite far. I had to drive to get to it, probably close to a quarter mile. This makes no sense to me as a tent camper a nice shower at the end of the day is really nice and also a power outlet in the rest room to charge a phone. They should put the tent area close to a good restroom.

Staff at this park are the best of any ACOE Ive visited. Super friendly and helpful. Also very attentive to facilities - even tho bathrooms are old and dated. We had a great time in spite of the daily rain!

We stayed for 8 days and the only issue was in the mens bathroom, I noticed a bar of soap on the first night while taking a shower and the same bar of soap was still there on our last day. Does anyone clean the restrooms?

The view was worth the trip. The Campgrounds were well maintained. The shower and bathroom facilities could stand some upgrade but they meet the needs. TMobile worked great at my site and over the air TV was good too.
