Love this campground. It is a great halfway point between our home and our kids in FL. Easy to reserve and always a beautiful spot to spend an evening.

the park and its staff were wonderful. the only issue we had was in our loop there was no bathrooms. we had to drive to go use a facility. are there any plans to add a facility in that loop?

The park is great and the staff was very nice. Spot 68 is pull through so access is easy. We liked having the deck. Lots of trees with leaves meant we had great shade but we could only see West Point Lake by looking through the trees.

We had a good birthday trip. R Schaefer Heard has always been my favorite campground since we first began camping years ago. I would love to be a host there.

Great park. Most sites on water, many with a patio deck. Hosts very pleasant. It was leaf season and maintenance was unable to stay ahead of falling leaves.

Truly enjoyed our stay. The Halloween trunk or treat was great. We enjoyed riding around looking at all the cool campsite Halloween decorations. The kids had a great time trick or treating. Our campsite was pretty when they porches. It was a pull through and it was a little tight getting into it with our fifth wheel. But it was nice once we got settled.

Great park but if you need to get out of the gate between 10pm-7am make sure you have a second vehicle.

Beautiful campground and truly well set up!!! unfortunately the wife and i just stayed 1 night as we needed a place to stop over night on our way home from Key West. We both agree we will make this a destination for us to come next year for a week!!!

The site is very narrow, we were in LOOP E, site 068. It is a pull through, the length of the site was great, the width not so much. We have two slides, one on each site, so the slide went out to the electrical connection with no clearance. We looked at the back in sites, and next time will get one of those, #074 through #080 looked awesome!! The deck was covered in ants, and we had problems with that as well. Overall, we enjoyed the weekend, but will select a different site next time.
