Very surprised how nice park and campsites were will definitely stop again someday when in area.

My wife and I walked the entire campground over our three night stay. Honestly, I can't say that there were any 'bad' sites at this campground. Very quiet at night, except for some nights the horn at the dam blew very late, to alert fishermen downstream that the water level was about to rise. But, really not a big deal. Beautiful lakeside sites with great views.

Very beautiful place! We will definitely return, stayed in 2 different sights, one side more shaded, and the other out in full sun facing the dam. Visited many of the small towns around area, most favorite was Pine Mountain, lovely visitor center! Then Hogansville for some old fashioned candy and on to train depot for some coffee. Look forward to heading back into this area to continue to explore.! Charlie Joseph's for famous hot dogs, and a nostalgic look inside is awesome. Daily Donuts for snacks daily was great!!!

I know it was off season but bathhouses were nasty every morning and laundry was not very good either

Our location was beautiful but there was some garbage left at the site that greeted us on arrival. Also, on Saturday night, January 1, 2022, there was a tornado watch and very strong wind gusts. I felt as though we should've been alerted since there was no internet/cable. Some sort of communication should have come from the site manager to let us know to be hyper aware (especially since it was from midnight until 6am). It was frightening weather.

Well-kept campground with most sites directly on or very close to the lake. Some sites are difficult to get into, and some have the table and hookups on the wrong side of the campsite. But overall it's a great place to spend several days. The price is very good, especially if you have a senior discount.

We stayed on site 99 and it was beautiful... water views on both side of the coach! As always, the folks who checked us in were very nice and helpful. We will be back!

This time we had some visitors that did not keep their dogs on leash and I was not comfortable with that.. it was a big dog.. flies were terrible ..had to keep spraying..we love the park though and would definitely go back
