This park is absolutely beautiful! We stayed at site 42, which offered a gorgeous sunset view over the lake. However, there was a significant water leak at the site, creating a very large puddle over a large portion of the site. We reported it to the attendant, and if we had been staying longer than one night, we would have requested a different site. Despite this minor issue, we enjoyed our visit and would definitely return. The parks scenery make it a perfect destination!

Really enjoy the West Point Lake Campgrounds. Overall, good place to camp. Suggestion - improve the interior look of the bathroom near the #40 area sites. It needs some freshening up.

Friendly staff, clean pull thru space with ample space. We had a water view both times we stayed and it was beautiful. We will definitely be back!

We have been to R. Schaefer Heard several times now and it is always a great experience. The campground is laid out well and the sties are clean and spacious. Beautiful lake settings as well.

Great park and incredible host. These are the nicest people.Mike drove by my site a.m. wanted to see if I enjoyed my stay. Intro turned into a 30 minute conversation about camping, R.V.'s and the campgrounds. Will stay here anytime I'm in the area.

The camp hosts were very friendly and efficient. The site was clean and the area around was keep neat. I always chose this campground over others. The views are great and the other campers are friendly and helpful.

Beautiful park with outstanding views. The sites are well spaced, we had a pull-through site with plenty of room for our 35ft. Class A and towed. Will definitely be back to enjoy all of the benefits of the park!

Stayed one night in site 42. Plenty of room for a 37 ft 5th wheel. Site has good view of the lake from the door side of the rig. Cell coverage was good enough to stream video for smart TV. Over the air TV antenna scan produced bunches of channels. This site's popularity is understandable.

This is normally a great campground, however this time a campsite 2 down played loud music all day long, the music was so loud that it was hard at time to carry a conversation. I happened to have a dosimeter and the music averaged 72dB. Very unpleasant fellow campers

Roads are well laid out and paved. Sites are nicely maintained except our power pedestal cover was detached. Our site was easy to get into with our large motorhome. Many sites have a steep slope to back into them but then are level at the bottom, but those sites wouldn’t work for a large motorhome. Dump station is easy to get into and can accommodate two RVs at the same time. Restrooms are numerous and clean. Most sites have views of the lake. We really enjoyed the privacy we had.
