Very well maintained campground with nice lockers, picnic tables as well as clean pit toilets. Location is amazing. Going back soon

Wonderful, well-maintained backpacking trails. Clean bathrooms, potable water, wonderful views, and it was fun to make a campfire on the beach.

Get a headlight with a red setting or just use it sparingly- the stars are beautiful out here and half the campsites are visible to eachother so its polite not to spotlight/blind other campers so everyone can enjoy the night sky. Also, its the bay area so its gotta be said- dont bring your dog! Plenty of other campsites allow dogs- this isnt one of them. There is fog at some point every night and condensation in tents is inevitable- having a water resistant blanket on top of your sleeping bag is a good way to stay relatively warm and dry.

Beautiful camping spot on the ridge with views out to the beaches of Pt. Reyes. Campsites are well located with some visibility one to the other but spots of privacy as well. Exposed to wind. Great spot to launch longer hikes from.

For $40 they dont even provide a smooth level pad to pitch your tent on.Surely thats the most basic thing one would expect - a level piece of ground!Also, the booking system is dysfunctional. You have to book months in advance and once you arrive a quarter to 1/3 of the sites are empty with no-shows. There must be a better way to make sure that all sites are available!

Point Reyes National Seashore is absolutely beautiful! I did an one-night backpacking trip starting at Palomarin Trailhead. I did a loop following the Lake Ranch Trail, stayed at Glen Camp, and then followed the Coast Trail back. The highlight of the trip was the coastal views, especially at Wildcat Camp and the Ocean Lake overlook. The weather was great for November, just be prepared for wet vegetation and mud in the rainforest section. This stretch is a little overgrown. There's lots of wildlife in the park--banana slugs and newts abound so watch your step. Next time I visit I'll stay at Wildcat Camp and explore more of the coast. I wanted to hike to Alamere Falls, but the tide was rising when I reached the beach. All in all a must-visit in NorCal!

This was fall camping at Point Reyes National Seashore, and the slower season made the whole experience wonderfully peaceful. The ocean air, long quiet stretches of shoreline, and time spent unplugged felt genuinely restorative. The campsites themselves were spacious and well spread out, although that wasn't a factor for me as there were only a few other overnighters. My only disappointment was the condition of some of the trails, badly eroded in places, which seems like a clear result of ongoing underfunding of the National Parks system in our current political climate. Even so, the beauty and calm of Point Reyes made the trip more than worthwhile.

This campground was nestled in an opening surrounded by trees but little to no shade when the sun passes overhead. We stayed at site 9, it was pretty tight but perfect for two- 2 person tents and very flat and level. Bathroom and water supply were sufficient. Overall it was a great stay, would recommend!

Great experience! I have been backpacking and camping at Point Reyes for 50 years and it never gets old.

Excellent campsite! It has the perfect amount of amenities to be comfortable while still feeling remote. Campsites are nicely spaced and we woke up to wild elk in camp! Bear valley to wild cat was a good climb/decent but friends hiked in from Palomarin and it was easy enough for young kids to do.

Great service. Thanks to staff during the shutdown they kept the place up.

Our particular campsite (Site 10) happened to be upwind of the outhouse and was a tad smelly at times but it was a very beautiful campground.

Wildcat camp is wonderful. Pretty clean overall, given the huge demand and large number of people using these sites (Kudos to the service staff!). A few wild campers. I have mixed feelings about them. They put demands on the limited services without contributing. But I understand the frustration with having to book it months in advance. But for those who play by the rules, it's a little disheartening.

Beautiful place! Easy backpacking with clean water, vault toilets, and bear boxes at every site. Toilets were smelly but clean and well-stocked with toilet paper. Glen was extra damp and Sky was a bit windy, but both were beautiful and very safe feeling (it was my first solo trip, so that was a plus). Sky site had more teens and kids and a big group and was louder. Moisture levels were quite high everywhere in the evening and my tent got sopping wet (as did everything else), so recommend proper wet-weather gear even when the sky is clear.

Great beach access, nice private campsites (1-7) and a variety of hike length options depending which trailhead and trails you choose.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
