Stayed at Sky Camp and Glen Camp. Both nice backcountry campgrounds with potable water, toilets, and even trash collection!

Really nice hike in to the campsite. Lovely spot to camp, except for one thing...Site #1 is too close to the bathroom. Worst smelling bathroom ever. Like Guinness book of world records worst smell ever.

Nice location at this Glen. We enjoyed the hike into the camp site. The picnic table was brand new and included a hot plate at one end. Convenient and safe to cook on it. Fresh drinking water is available and also toilets. From here we did a day hike to Wildcat beach Camp and also the Waterfalls. Very pretty excursion.

The park is great. I think the reservation system should be changed to prevent campsites going unused by no shows. I have camped in the park 3 times in the last month. All three times there were only 2-3 campsites occupied, despite nearly all being reserved. I think people should receive an email 2-3 days before their reservation and must confirm they will really use their reservation. I support having limited camping and a reservation system for this park, but the current reservation system significantly limits opportunities beyond what is intended.

We hiked in to Glen camp the longer Stewart trail route, and back out over Greenpicker trail a day after some significant rain. The campground was beautiful in its greenery and in the rain, and the nearby Bear trail offered some extra enjoyable casual strolls.

We tried a new trail starting at the Palomarin trailhead and did a loop via Wildcat Camp to Glen Camp and went back using different trails. The weather was nice and moist which was a break from where we live. We would like to use a different trailhead that did not have a rough dirt road to go on. You need to get to this trailhead before 10 am to park and drive on some rough roads that were not good for the car.

Great hike, well maintained trails, clean facilities, and the park rangers were very helpful answering our questions about the are and suggesting places to explore.

Beautiful area and amazing hiking. Glen camp site #1 is unpleasantly close to the vault toilet; next time I would avoid it.

Glen Camp is excellent, though the toilets seem like they'd be pretty bad on a hot day. The trail maps markers are pretty terrible for the Coast/Glen area. Highly recommend the Wittenberg and Woodward trails. Stay off the Bear Valley Trail as much as possible. Most people were not wearing masks or distancing on that trail.
