The hike was gorgeous, and the campsite was in great condition. Having a fire on the beach was definitely the highlight of the trip. The rain and fog on our trip were beautiful to experience, highlighting the greenery and helping our group experience the Tule Elk and lots of Salamanders along the trail. The group site was spacious and easily accommodated our 20 person group. Will be coming back!

I have been to Wildcat Camp many times but haven't been to Coast Camp in many years. I had forgotten how lovely this campsite is. One of our days was very windy; and Coast Camp is not as protected from the wind as Wildcat Camp, but there was a lovely spot on the way down to the beach where we could get out of the wind and hang out by the creek inlet; almost like a little mini oasis. What really made the trip was seeing whales just 50 yards offshore. I followed them north for a full 10 minutes before turning back. It was a magical experience.

Having access to this kind of coastal beauty so close to a city with 750000 people is pretty unique. Elk, bobcat, rock formations, waterfallsjust incredible. I love Point Reyes.

Very Spacious Campsites. Clean toilets and perhaps the best campsite in the Bay area!

One of my favorite spots, vault bathrooms remain clean and well supplied with toilet paper. Each site is pretty close to each other but separated enough by brush that it doesn't feel crowded. Can listen to the ocean while falling asleep. Feels like a private beach in the mornings. Walk to alamere falls is lovely either by way of the beach or by the trails.

This campground is fantastic. The scene and setting are gorgeous, with easy access to the beach for bonfires and a short walk to Alamere Falls. We also appreciated all of the amenities at the site (bathrooms, trash, water, picnic table, bear box) - it made our backpacking experience feel glamorous!

Great camping area at Wildcat. Facilities well maintained.
Only negative issue was litter (tp) along trail on the hike in.

This was one of the nicest trips I’ve ever taken. It was less than a week ago and I’m already nostalgic! I saw deer, elk, a bobcat, and a porpoise or dolphin, and heard coyotes howling and running around the campsite at night. I can’t wait to go back.
