Beautiful spot. If you cannot make your reservation, please cancel it!!!!! I noticed many empty campsites that recreation.gov had shown as booked.

The trail to Glenn Campground is beautiful, just under five miles each way. I rate it ``moderate/easy difficulty'' with our packs, just for one night. The campground had only one other person when we were there. It is plenty big to accommodate many people. The bathrooms were clean. Nice to have bear boxes. A wonderful spot.

Glen campground is not right on the coast, so it's not quite as popular (i.e. sells out in 5 seconds instead of .1 second). But it's a lovely campground! It's in the forest, so from most sites none of the other sites are visible (the exception is Site 10 - right next to the bathroom and in the middle of everything). We were in Site 7 and we really enjoyed our time there. We hiked from Bear Valley, dumped our packs and set up our tents, then hiked to Wildcat to have some time at the beach. The trail from Bear Valley to Glen Campground got a little overgrown at the end, but there was no poison oak and I did fine in shorts. Overall a great first backpacking trip for some in our group!

Best place is absolutely magical. We did a two night, three day adventure totaling about 36 miles in January and the weather was perfect. Make a trip of it and you won’t regret it.

Beautiful area in the woods. We stayed in campsite #7 which felt nice and secluded due to the bushes between campsites even though the next campsite over was very close. It rained when we stayed. The lower campsites did seem to do better in the rain as they had the sun to dry out in the morning whereas ours was shaded with the trees dripping onto our tents in the misty fog long after the rain had stopped falling. The bathroom is a pit toilet. It smelled horrendous when we were there and the miasma followed you around for several minutes. We had to air out before entering the tent following a bathroom visit because it would repel everyone else in the tent.

We walked in through Bear Valley to Glen Loop trail and out through the coast trail to bear valley. The detour was pretty though you don't actually make it to the beach so in high fog (like the day we came in) you won't be able to see the ocean. Visited the fallen arch rock and stopped by Cowgirl Creamery on the way out!

The hike to Coast Camp was a bit more challenging because you if you left from Bear Valley Visitor Center you had to use the Fire lane. The Woodward Valley trail remains closed as does the Coast Trail from Coast Camp to Arch Rock.

Very agreeable place to backpack and camp, with cooler weather than inland.
Campsites are well laid out, with food lockers and Charcoal grills.

Went to Glen Camp for a quick overnight to escape the smoke in the valley, it didn't disappoint! Nice, not too difficult hike in with my 11 year old. The only real issue was the pit toilets which were absolutely disgusting (and I have seen my share of stinky pit toilets).

It's getting noisier every trip. 11 people were in one site next to mine. I could hear them at 1:00AM even with earplugs in. Hiking 5 miles out the next day with the lack of sleep wasn't great. Pretty common in California campgrounds now though.

Very clean bathroom. Isolated. Lots of trails to go hike. I love this place.

Great camp ground, lots of horse poo, but overall great place, well maintained.

Pt reyes is such an idyllic place to hike, even with a section of the are closed. We had issues with some of the people camping near us being disrespectful and very loud, but overall still lovely

Pt Reyes is a special place. Verdant forests, gorgeous beaches, hills, dales, vistas, 1,000-frog serenades, owls hooting—just what we needed.
