This is a great campground. We stayed in site 1&3 on our way to Key West and on the way back. Lola was a great camp host. Everything sites, bathhouse and dump station all clean.

Our personal experience was great. There were many other campers having campfires during burn ban. It should be addressed with no question for misunderstanding - that NO CAMPFIRES are allowed during burn ban. Also - we saw lots of grills and coolers being left out when occupants were away from their campsite for hours during the day. Maybe a checklist sheet that is given to every camping site guest upon check-in could be provided. Hard to enforce something when youre not clearly informed. It would also be helpful for safety reasons - if a One Way sign and speed limit signs were posted. People come off the highway to drive the loop around the pond and use the bathroom/dump trash at the dumpster - but they drive too fast around the loop. As I said originally - our stay was great and the host and workers there are awesome, friendly and frequently helpful and busy - they could benefit from having these helpful tools if provided by higher staff - to make their jobs a little easier.THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE COVERAGE AT ALL AT THIS CAMPGROUND.

Great clean campground! Easy backins, good power and easy water fill up at the entrance near the dump station We were greeted very nicely by the hosts and since we are repeat visitors they were very welcoming and made sure were remembered the location of the water and trash and informed us of the burn band. We really liked this Campground and the area and we already have plans to return next year. !

It was disappointing to learn that the only shower was at another campground but what made it worse was there was only one shower. One shower for TWO CAMPGROUNDS! Otherwise it was acceptable

During our stay there was a burn ban in place - however on several evenings we saw other campers that were violating the burn ban and having fires regardless. None were told to extinguish their fires. We also saw quite a few grills being kept out at campsites 24/7 even when the occupants were away from their sites. We were specifically told to keep the grill put away when not in use.

Happy to have electric. Camp hosts were friendly. During a burn ban, we saw campfires after dark, but, camp hosts stop working at 6, and do not see it. Only 1 small sign about burn ban. Lots of coolers and grills left out, when there's notices posted about being bear safe. Make sure you go through Loop Road, we saw 100 alligators! The new boardwalk at Big Cypress is a great walk. Kirby Sorter boardwalk has not been rebuilt. For a great cuban, go to HavAnna Cafe.

We stayed at Midway campground in a 32' Class C with a Jeep toad. Perfect location and price! We saw fox squirrels at the campsite and drove a short distance to the Everglades National Park Shark Valley where we rode our e-bikes around the 15 mile loop filled with alligators and birds!

Very small QUIET place. 20+ miles from ANYTHING. It needs several upgrades. 1) FENCED IN DOG RUN AREA ( my suggestion would be the cleared area in the woods at the back of the park) 2) Upgrades to the bathrooms. There is more than enough room for shower stalls to be added! Telling campers to drive miles up the road to another similar campground is NOT acceptable!

Midway Campground is a very pleasant and quiet place. It's easy to find right off US 41 to the south and is close to the Oasis Visitors Center. Good bathrooms with water fill nearby. Most of the sites are electric. Good shade to the east of the lake while the west side is mostly sunny. The campground host is friendly and walks around the lake with the other campers.

Perfect location if youre spending time in Big Cypress and the Everglades. Volunteer park hosts are friendly and helpful. Camp sites are nice electric hook-up only. Restrooms are clean, but there arent showers. Best suited for one or two night stays.

What a fantastic campground! The camp hosts and maintenance crew were spot on, with cleanup and recommendations for fun. Loved Everglades City (old Florida for this old Fl native). Enjoy the peace and quiet and rare beauty of the Everglades.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
