Lots of space between sites. Clean attractive grounds and facilities. Restrooms only, no showers. Quiet environment.

Nice campground with easy access to Hwy 41. There is not a lot of vegetation buffer between sites but they are paved and there is a pond in the center. Someone spotted a Python the day we were there. The Loop Hwy ran North and South of the campground but it was quite dusty when we took it and there was not a lot of activity on it but others have highly recommended that trip. We highly recommend the boardwalk hikes in the area and especially liked the one at Fakahatchee Strand (about 2.25 miles). Good food at Camellia Street Grill in Everglade City and have heard City Seafood is good too but did not have a chance to eat there.

Very clean, nice campground. Camp hosted was great and very helpful. Bathroom very clean, but no shower! We were allowed to use the shower at the campground about 8 miles down the road. No phone reception for AT&T. Close to Shark Valley and Everglades City.

Weve stayed at Midway several times because of its convient location. Recommend they upgrade their restrooms to include showers, and add water hook ups to the sites. The CG hosts were very helpful.

Campground is very nice zoom and well kept. Just wish they would add water at sites, hot showers more toliets in the mens room and dish washing station. Viewed one person washing dishes at potable water area.

Camp hosts were very helpful. Bugs were terrible. No showers but was told to use the facilities at the campground up the road but when tried they were always closed for cleaning.

Pros1. Beautiful sunset. 2. Well kept toilet and grounds.Cons1. It's near a busy highway so be prepared to be awoken at night by loud trucks/ vehicles. 2. No privacy between tent spots.3. There was no enforcing of the quiet hours policy as our "neighbors" were having a good ol' time past 2 AM.4. Despite being labeled as a "Dark Sky" preserve, a nearby Gov't facility to the east emits significant light pollution.

The campground was very cozy. We were welcomed by the campground host who was very knowledgeable and social. This is a great place to stop near Big Cypress.

Nice campground except NO SHOWERS in the bathhouse. Also no water at the sites. Must fill up fresh water tank and hope it holds enough. Not a good combination when you must shower in you rv. They offer a hot shower 10 miles away at another campgroud. Tried that but when arrived there was a waiting line 3 deep. One was there from another campground, so at least 3 using one bathhouse and it only ha one men and one women shower.

Host was congenial & informative. Facilities were fine. Well located. Showers/bathrooms at next campground, not far. Close to Clyde Butcher photo studio.

Definitely go to Shark Valley Visitors Center to bike the loop. We saw numerous alligators & birds. Also, two crocodiles near the observation tower (walk up the OT and look out over the area). We almost had the area to ourselves because we go to the gate at 8:00. They opened the gate at 8:30 & VC at 9:00.The staff at Midway were extremely helpful and friendly!!! Lola was top notch with suggestions in the area. She really took her time to explain things. Very kind!Another guy was also super helpful. Im not sure of his name but he was from Colorado.Clean bathrooms & sites *****Its a dark sky campground but several campers left outside lights on all the time and ruined the ability to really enjoy the stars.

Highly recommend this little jewel of a campground. Perfect location to explore the Everglades. Campground personal are outstanding people, we had some mechanical issues when we arrived and they were a great source of information and help. Thanks so much guys.

The CG is very well maintained. The only complaint would be about someone in the 'primitive' area was burning plastic and the smell was all over the area on the night of Jan10th.

Very clean, quiet campground. Friendly camp hosts. No or spotty cell service so relaxing is mandatory! Would definitely go again.

Quiet, clean park with concrete sites well spaces. Mostly open, some shady sites. Bathrooms clean. No shower facility. 20 min from Shark Valley, 30 min from Everglades City. Stars were amazing!

What a great park. Lola the camp host is a very cheerful, helpful fun person. She suggested some things for us to explore. Like the 24 mile Loop Road back in the Big Cypress. If you like the wild, drive the Loop Road. Thanks Lola. It is mostly a gravel road. It took us 2 hours. We loved every minute of it. We stopped at a pull off for lunch whole back there. Lola is always cheerful. I have to give Lola 5 stars.*****We will stay at Midway Campground again.

Excellent site. We are in a 40 MH, with a full wall slide on the driver's side, we had to hug the passenger side because of a lower limb, but it wasn't an issue.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
