Beautiful place. Need to plumb for water at each site and offer honey wagon service. Added income.

Very nice, quiet park. Cell service is lacking and showers would be nice. Some tent campers trashed their site and I cleaned up two bags of garbage. Keep America beautiful.

We stay every other month for a weekend and the sites are very nice. We particularly like the ones on the East side of the pond as there is better shade.

Beautiful campground. Paved level sites. Enough space. Convenient to kayaking (Turner Road) ,airboat tours, swamp tours (Clyde Butcher Gallery), hiking and boardwalk trails. Would definitely stay here again.

We stopped in for an overnight on our way home. The Park personnel were very attentive and informative. I saw a Maintenance person working working and available during all daylight hours. The Park is small but very serviceable. We have a Big RIg, Class A 45, Coach and our site worked well. We used Power on site and dumped on the way out, all worked just fine. There is no connection to the outside world here, no Verizon and no WiFi. As long as you are ready for that, all is well. We would stop thru there again anytime.

The campground is kept clean and in good condition . However the current Maintenace worker b have in a way that make you feel persecuted. He goes to your location to ask you questions about when you will leave how many days and all those question what about that paper .He takes the time to lecture you in campground etiquette without being asked. Why we have to give him any account of our stay in the llevar that he has no accountability? Because otherwise he would have access to the logs like all host have. So he needs to take one step back and just do his function and be courteous and not make people feel you are in a prision yard.

We loved our stay at Midway Campground on Frbruary 27. The campground is very pretty with all sites circled around the lake. It is very clean and well kept. There is electricity at each site and a dump station and fresh water available to fill our tank. The location is very handy to the Shark Valley Loop and the 17 mile loop road where you can drive along a stream and view the abundant wildlife. Heat might be a problem in hot weather as there is not very much shade.

Midway campground is a great location for experiencing Shark Valley. For paddling enthusiasts, Turner River, Halfway Creek and East River provide opportunities to explore the mangrove tunnels.

Great location and campground. The only downside for us is there was no AT&T cell signal at site 21 that we needed for work.

Small campground - ever site is Lakeview. No WI-FI or shower - easy remedy go over to Monument Campground for these. Sires have electric. Close to all trails!

The campground is wonderful. The camp hosts were wonderful, kind and helpful. They have free coffee in the morning, sell firewood, and even have a book exchange. The potable water and dump stations were clean. Bathrooms were clean. Virtually no trash at our site. Will stay again if we're ever back in the area.

We stayed on site 21 on our way to and back from Key West. The campground was very nice but the site was tight getting into with our 35' motor home due to the palm tree on the front corner of the site and the driveway being 90 degrees to the road. This required us to drive on the grass which was firm even though there had been lots of rain. The site itself was great with lots of shade, paved driveway, 50 amp service and beautiful sunsets. The campground was not busy when we were there the end of September but I understand that changes once the season starts.
