Nice quiet location until we had zero camp hosts then things get a little crazy with some of our neighbors.

We found our site easily but the check in process wasnt clear. We also didnt realize the campsites have no water hook up so we had to fill our holding tank a couple of times while there. Also the bathrooms were nicely cleaned but there are no showers there. The hosts were friendly and helpful and we had really nice fellow campers.

A friendly, quiet campground. Great place to wind down. Host, Jim, was chatty and helpful. Note: mobile phone service (Verizon) was poor throughout campground.

This has been the most friendly campground that I have ever visited. Shout out to Lola and Penny , hosts who made my stay so much more interesting and fun. The friendly and interesting folks made the shower absence unnoticeable.

Beautiful setting, paved sites and road were a huge plus as were the electric sites. Very quiet and peaceful. However, the grass needed mowing on all sites and bathrooms needed cleaning badly, as well as being restocked with toilet paper.

The Campground volunteers are impeccable as to keeping the grounds good and the campers satisfied. Troy does an awesome job. Cant wait to see him next year.

Clean, flat back in sites. Very quiet and comfortable and convenient if traveling across Highway 41.

The small campground is tidy, the grass is cut, there are paved sides pads, picnic tables and clean restrooms. It is a great spot from which to explore the everglades. There is no running water and that would be a great addition to the park.
Clean, well maintained campground right on the Tamiami Trail. All sites are pretty much the same, a few palm trees by the road and dense vegetation behind the site. Paved, level pads, could fit any rig. No Verizon cell service, but you can drive a couple miles to Monument Lake campground and get decent service. Great place to stay to bike the Snake Bight Loop.
Lovely little campground set around a pond. The hosts were very accommodating. There are no showers but restrooms were okay. A very quiet campground. We even saw an alligator swimming in the pond. No wifi.

We stayed overnight twice in 3 weeks time. The park is clean and well taken care of. The sites are good size and the restrooms are clean. Unfortunately no antenna tv and cell service. The camp hosts were available and friendly. I would recomment Midway to my family and friends.

What a great little campground in the middle of the everglades with electric, water and a dump station.

Level sites but no privacy, only electric with potable water near dump station. No host on site so reservation tags weren’t kept up to date and sites were in need of being cleaned. Ours had cigarette butts and half pack on the table and leaves and debris on the slab. Of course, we cleaned it before setting up. Quiet during the week and great for star gazing but shelters are allowed day use by locals so it gets congested on weekends even though there’s other picnic areas up and down the Hwy. 41.
What a great peaceful place. Be sure to bring all supplies as real shopping opportunities are far, far away!

Nice clean and quiet park. Easy access paved sites with patio and electric hookup. No water on sites but available at front by dump station. Nice stop when traveling to and from Florida keys.

This is our 6th visit at Midway. Each visit is as perfect as the last.

The check in was pleasant and efficient. The campground was very comfortable. My only suggestion is to locate the trash dumpster near the exit instead of near the entrance.

Great hosts who exercise common sense about what they term the "Midway shuffle" when you have to change sites. Sizeable sites, quiet with great night skies. For those who complain about traffic noise, dah, did you not remember you drove the Tamiami Trail to pull in? Also, the website is very clear there is electric only at the sites but there is water and dump station. We have the opportunity to camp in comfort in the Everglades...get over yourself and enjoy where you are. Saw an amazing number of gators and a stop at the Clyde Butcher gallery is a must to see his amaziningly beautiful black and white photography.
Nice sites, quiet, close to good hiking. Friendly host, well maintained park.
