Great sites with full 50amp electricity. We filled water at the campground at arrival and dumped as we left. The location was great for visiting the park. Really little to no cell service. Quiet and the night skies were fantastic.

I only wish we would have known about not having water at each individual camp site. Great park! Bugs were a little bad - November. But nothing a thermacell couldnt handle. Didnt see any alligators, sad face, but seen lots on the ride home! Great place to stop on your way into the keys.

Small quiet, clean campground. Friendly hosts.

The campground is clean. The sites are relatively spacious. In mid-February we experienced no mosquitoes. The biggest negative is the lack of a place to wash dishes. There is only one spigot for potable water (except in the one bathroom.) The one spigot has no table or counter on which to place a dish pan or bucket ----just a hose near the campground exit.

I always love my time at Midway. The 30 Amp electrical outlet was not making a good connection at my site on this visit and Thomas, the camp host, loaned me his adapter. Thank you Thomas, for saving me a trip to Naples to buy an adapter and making my short stay an awesome time in Big Cypress!

Nice quiet campground fairly spaced out. Close to Big Cypress hiking opportunities as well as canal fishing spots.

Check in was quick and easy, campground host was friendly and helpful, and the lot was great! We will definitely return!

this park located in the middle of nowhere is great for an overnight stop. Just up the road is Clyde Butchers photo gallery with stunning prints. There is a wildlife area on one end of the parking lot with all sorts of birds, gators, and cypress trees.

With the exception of no phone and internet signal, the place was excellent.

Great location enabling RVrs to stop midway across the state. Site was level. Definitely a Florida swampland experience. Alligator in the pond. Big Cypress National Preserve is beautiful. The camp hosts were very helpful and welcoming. You're out there though , so no reliable cell service and electric only hookup. We would definitely stay here again if we are traveling through Florida.

We enjoyed our stay at Midway. The campground sites were large and clean.
I would stay there again.
