This is a great campground. We stayed in site 1&3 on our way to Key West and on the way back. Lola was a great camp host. Everything sites, bathhouse and dump station all clean.

Campsite is easy to find, get into. Electrical hookups and dump station easy to access.

It was a spot to stop for the night on our way to Key Largo. Unfortunately we arrived right a dusk and got devoured by ravenous mosquitoes . We fought them all night long inside the RV. Probably not a good spot mid June.

Great campsite. Bathrooms were nice. They have flush toilets and running water, but no showers. I was able to get 1 bar of service sometimes, but it was not at all consistent. Stayed for 4 nights and had no issues at all. If you dont mind being disconnected from phone service for a little while, this was an excellent campsite.

Midway campground is a very well kept campground in a beautiful area of Florida. The hosts are friendly and very caring. If the opportunity presents itself you really should stay there!

Nice small park. If you want full sun sites 1-10, shade other side of pond

This was a clean and quiet campground surrounding a lake with alligators!

Small, well-maintained campground with electric hookups for motorhomes, dump station. Drinking water available but only at central location. Sites were level and nice view of small lake. Clyde Butcher's Art Gallery is 2 miles away, an easy bike ride and Oasis Visitor Center 1/2 mile to the west of the art gallery. Plenty of alligators to view at Oasis Visitor Center.

We came in the winter since the mosquitoes are unbearable the rest of the year. We have stayed here several times before over the last 10 years. For some reason, we had NO cell phone service this time. And of course the campground does not offer any kind of WI-FI.SO, we cancelled our return stay and got another location out of the Everglades.

We enjoyed our stay there allot. The only thing that surprised us the was no showers. We were told to go to Monument to shower, which was fine. Was happy to see a cell tower at monument also. Midway we could text and nothing else.

1- another Rv parked in our reserved spot in an otherwise empty park
2- too isolated. No telephone service. No communication at all.
3. Did not stay and moved on to civilization I should get my $30 refunded

Great location in the Florida Everglades! Perfect place for us to camp for the evening! Check in was a breeze as well as parking our fifth wheel!

Our only complaint was not being able to stay longer! Next time!

Let me start out by saying the camp hosts were great! Very friendly and personable and always made time for chit chat. I spent 5days here and I was literally thinking about finding a different place as soon as I checked in. The campsite is RIGHT off a busy highway. I mean I could throw a rock from my campsite and hit the road. Motorcycles, big trucks-not very peaceful. I may have well been camping out at a rest area. The traffic did lighten up at night. At $30 a night I felt was a bit much, considering. Had power but no water at the campsite, although there is potable water there. I did check out a campsite down the road-Monument Lake, I think-and that was completely pathetic. Figuring I'd only be there at night and busy exploring during the day, I stayed. Yes, it was the end of January, but it is south Florida and the mosquito's were horrendous. So bad that enjoying the evening out side wasn't even an option. I won't bother with the dump station and bathroom being closed because that was all fixed fairly quick. On the plus side the campsite is asphalt and flat and level. In conclusion, if I find myself wanting to camp down there again, I will put more effort into finding a different place

Beautiful and peaceful and would have given it five stars but being an internet junkie there was no cell reception.
