Beautiful campsites in a wooded park with plenty of space between campsites. Bathroom was clean but outdated but hey the shower was hot!

We camp at Gunter Hill several times a year, always a great time and our favorite campground. Thank You to the staff , they are so kind and helpful.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds because it is just beautiful. Dollar General is about a mile away. Walmart, restaurants and shopping will be in Prattville, about 30 minutes away.

This park was excellent. We loved the large spaces and the full hookups. The sites were cement pads that required little if any leveling. The bathrooms were heated which was nice.

Would have given 5 stars but bathrooms/showers were needing updated. Everything was clean just older.Great pads for RVs!

I really like Gunther its one of our favorite parks when were traveling through the area. Its always clean comfortable. Staff is great and however, this time I was a little disappointed, the fire ring was full of garbage, cigarettes bottles cigarette packs dumped charcoal. It was a mess I asked at the gate if they had somebody to clean it up they said no I ended up cleaning it up myself was just disappointing me her next time.

My sister and I loved our latest camping experience at Gunter Hill. The week of March 9th. We loved site 4. We usually start at 41 or site 5. Everything at the site had been blown off and looked very neat and clean. Gunter Hill is our our top choice for camp grounds.

We loved our visit so much we booked again. Restrooms and showers were clean and our site was spacious and clean with plenty of shade. The water pressure was so forceful we needed a water regulator. Highly recommend.

Gunter Hill campground is a wonderful place to camp. Spacious wooded sites, and nice amenities. A beautiful place to take walks, and nice for pets. Will definitely be back.

This campground is very nice. The sites are big and include sewer. The attendants are very helpful and knowledgeable. We live in Virginia but go here as often as possible.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. I love that there is plenty of space between sites and the sites are much larger than most places. A couple of things that would make it better would be better lighting in the main bathhouse. Many bulbs are blown and have been for sometime. There are also a couple of places on the campground roads that need repair as they hold a lot of water.

Well shaded campsites with paved drives. The graveled areas are spacious enough to pitch a largish tent. If staying in the summer call the campground office to see if races are planned at the stock car track next door. If races are planned, bring earplugs. Overall, the campground is very well kept and bathrooms are clean. Would stay again if in Montgomery area

We had a beautiful view of the lake and the bathhouse was clean. It was very peaceful, I will definitely return the next time I'm traveling through Alabama. Five stars!

Its a gorgeous location. The sites are large and good distance from neighbors. The showers could use some updating. The hosts were helpful.

Beautiful park! Campsites are spaced well and roads are paved in a gorgeous forest setting. Stopped there for 1 night on our way home to SC. Would stop again!

One night stop while traveling. Level pads, easy to back into. Clean restrooms and they had washers and dryers if needed.

Nice large spaces and quite. Nice clean bathrooms. A great price for a FHU campground, especially if you have a NP pass.The washer and dryers do not work, and according to the camp host, will not be fixed or replaced. That should be taken off the description.

Great to have secured a pull-thru site for one night on our back home from Florida. The check-in went very well & easy after driving for 9 hours, water pressure was great! So nice to go a little out of our way ($15/senior citizen fee) & be able to have a peaceful nights sleep. When is the old section going to be improved for more sites to be able to choose from?
