Nice distance between sites. The picnic tables and grill / firepits are in rough shape. The bathrooms are okay.The price was only $30 per night. Nice lake view. Cell service / mobile hotspot (Verizon) got the job done. 4.92 down / 2.88 up.

CATOMA LOOP #33I would say 3.5 - 4 out of 5 stars overall. Stayed 6 days as a rest stop on our way to the Gulf. Would stay again but shorter unless I was going to be fishing.PROS: - Clean and affordable camping- roomy sites- lots of space to walk dogs- 15 minute drive to Maxwell AFB and downtown area.CONS:- City, county and state roads in this area are horribly maintained.- Smell from surrounding mills tends to ruin outside time while in the campground.- Nothing to dry hands in bathrooms.- Lack of fenced in dog park.- Waterfront views with very little access (our site had @15 feet drop from ground level to waters edge).

Very nice campground along the Alabama River. No frills, just well maintained sites. Close to Montgomery attractions.

We really liked this campground. Had a level site with more than enough room. Services were good. Stayed 2 nights on our way south. Followed previous suggestions on getting into park rather than Google GPS directions with no problem.

We enjoyed a pleasant & peaceful 2 day stay at Gunter Hill CG. Facility appeared well maintained. Entry staff were friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.

We've stayed here a couple of times for overnight stops as we pass through the Montgomery area. We would like to stay longer as it's really a nice, quiet park. It's well managed and the staff is always really friendly at the entrance gate. This place has a true campground feel to it.

Clean, nice camper spots but no good places for fishing.

Great interaction with reservations, beautifull loction, however, our visit this time had two moves to three sites. All three sites had issues with the electrical towers that were in need of repairs. Where is the maintenance.

Gunter Hill COE is a great campground, the site we had was fairly level and a great view of the water. Enjoyed our e-bikes on the trails. The office host at check in answered all our questions and is very knowledgeable. We saw a very large 8 point buck and many other deer. Bathrooms were very clean.

This is a lovely, well-maintained park with specious full hookup sites and friendly staff. We had a very enjoyable stay. I stopped at 4 stars because we experienced a really strong sewer smell on several occasions.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
