Very roomy, level sites. Everything worked as it should, plenty of room to maneuver (Class C with a toad), excellent access (although the initial turn into the campground could be tight for long rigs, its definitely doable), quiet and close to Montgomery to visit museums.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gunter Hill Campground. The campsites are large with plenty of space between campsites. The grounds and facilities are very clean. During our stay there was a prediction of severe weather, thunder, lightning, high winds with a tornado watch issued. The camp staff reached out to all the campers informing everyone of the tornado warning and providing information about each site's closest shelter. That night we experienced very scary loud thunder, frequent lightning heavy rain and wind and hearing small branches falling on our RV roof. We slept in our clothes prepared to leave at a moment's notice. Thankfully the storm died down. We later learned there was a tornado that touched down 150 miles from us.Definitely a memorable night and a memorable campground that we would not hesitate to visit again!

Beautifully wooded park, quiet, with friendly staff and well maintained sites in the Catoma loop where we stayed. Easy access from here to the Civil Rights Museum and Rosa Parks Museum in Montgomery, as well as downtown Selma - all worth a visit. This was our first visit and well be back.

Gunter Hill is one of our favorite campgrounds. The staff are so nice and the facilities are great. We come back every year.

This is the way a RV park should be designed and laid out. Exceptionally roomy pads, adequate space between sites, clean, manicured grounds and wonderful, professional yet personable staff and volunteers.

Great spacious site w concrete pads and space between sites that give you privacy. The woodsy feel is very nice. Full Hookups - OMG how great. The price for seniors with an interagency pass is unbeatable. The access to county roads for cycling is super - aside from the dogs that want to chase you down the road aggressively - County Road 7 and Old Selma Road 1st big house on the left. What a relaxing stay.

We arrived a little late on or check in date, but the attendant called to check on our arrival. They left the info we needed posted on a bulletin board so we could find our camping spot and things were great. This campground is always perfectly kept in my estimation and we always try to stay at least overnight when we are traveling through this area. Keep up the good work.

Only stayed one night, but the sites are spacious, it was quiet, clean, the staff that We had contact with were friendly. Did not use the restrooms so can not comment. Enjoyed our night, would return for a longer stay.

The people that runs the place is so friendly and the grandkids love the bike trails,we had a wonderful time with our son and his family,we grilled some good food and then built a fire in the fire pit, next day enjoyed the fishing

Loved the spacious and quiet sites at this campground. This place is only 10 miles west of Montgomery, AL so you can go see some of the history of the area (civil war, civil rights, Hank Williams, etc)
