This was nice and unexpected stop for us on the way home from our long trip. It is a very nice campground. We had full hook ups at our site. It was pretty much level. We had a view of the lake and next to the bridge it was quiet and very shady. If ever in this pare of Alabama again, we will make this a stop.

Second time at Gunter Hill. First was an onite a couple years ago. Both experiences were good. We did 2 nights this time and spent a day relaxing during our stop. Quiet and peaceful place to camp. Would recommend to anyone wanting to camp in the area.

Beautiful campground. We had a view of the water and there are a lot of trees and the birding was amazing.

We stayed in site #13 which we thought was perfect. We had a nice view of the river. The site was level. FHUs. Shade. Plenty of space between our site and the other sites. We much preferred the Catoma loop with it's paved roads and concrete pads. The campground is also close to Montgomery for visiting the Legacy sites and between Montgomery and Selma.

Nice park, mostly long flat sites, 1 - 79 full hookups, Aldi's & Walmart 13 miles away in Prattville. Clean washers & dryers but the laundry room was dirty and hadn't been swept in a long time, laundry fuzz all over

Another great visit to Gunter hill, stayed in site 13 but there is not a bad site on the Catoma Loop. The campground is well maintained, and the hosts are pleasant. We'll be back next year. We were in a Class C but many of the sites would accommodate 5th wheels with long trailers.

The sites at the Catoma loop are wonderful,but the roads at Antiock could use attention. That said, it is a great place to camp one of our favorites. Campsites provide privacy and the pads are well designed and maintained in Catoma.

Always clean and quiet, even on a holiday weekend. Our spot was close to the boat launch.....Enjoyed watching the boats go by. Quiet, peaceful park.

We had an excellent site, with partial water view. Bath houses could use an upgrade, but were clean. You had to call an outside vendor to have firewood delivered, His price was fine and he was a very nice person. The amount of firewood per dollar was good, so not a scam.
I hope to make the trip to this campground again. A great experience,

Outstanding facility and very well managed by the couple assigned to the job. Most significant improvement to our favorite camping site is the addition of full hook up service including sewer. Well done! We will be back.

First of all drop dead gorgeous!!! Wow, the water views were just spectacular and the staff was outstanding! I arrived with a bit of an emergency situation and they were so helpful in guiding me to a location back in Montgomery that I needed to get to quickly. The whole experience at this campground was exponentially Fantastic! I cant wait to come back and just relax a little bit. I was there in the region for a dog event at the race track across the road so did not get much time to just enjoy the campground. It would be wonderful to luxuriate in that exquisite bit of nature for a long fall weekend! Thanks to All!

The staff is always super friendly and very helpful to us. We've never had an issue as many times as we've camped at Gunter Hill.

The sites are large and roomy enough to accommodate any size RV and vehicle, Plenty of shade and the grounds are very well maintained. Overall a very nice place to camp! We definitely will include on our list of places to return to.
