Due to the amount of rain our site had water standing all around the concrete pad.

This is a really nice campground. Very quiet, except on Saturday night when the close-by races are running. Most of the sites are spread out well with trees between. There is a Dollar General 1 mile away if you forgot anything. Great lake for kayaking/boating. We stayed in the Catoma loop, which has very large paved sites and full hookups. We enjoyed it immensely and will definitely stay there again!The Antioch loop is a bit rundown. The roads through it are crap and the sites are all gravel. Also no sewer hookup at these sites.

Have been camping here for over 40 years! I camped here with my parents then brought our children now bringing our grandchildren!! Its a beautiful place!

What a relaxing and beautiful place! The host even called us to see when we were arriving and had our after hours documents ready for easy pick up! The lots are the largest of any campground we have been to! There are several walking trails to enjoy too!

Great park large spaces all concrete pads. Hosts were very nice park was very clean. Full hookups were awesome.

Beautiful long level sites with full hookups. Very clean bathrooms. One washing machine and two dryers available in the main bathhouse. We used site 46 for a week and site 23 for the next week (over the New Year the campground was filled up) some sites look to be well over 100 long. There are several pull through sites. We will certainly be back. One note of caution, DO NOT PULL INTO THE PRIVATE DRIVEWAY that is right next to the park entrance. You should be right next to the timber. A lady we met came after dark and pulled into the private driveway and there is no turn around. It was after dark and she had to back up a couple hundred yards in the dark. She was pretty shaken up by the experience.

Always enjoy camping at Gunter Hill in the Catoma loop where there are full hook ups and paved sites. The Antioch loop on the other hand has become very run down due to the lack of maintenance. The campground is in the need of updated toilet buildings. Be aware some sites in the Catoma loop flood when it rains. Sites 46 and 45 held rain water for several days after a storm blew through! Some additional crushed stone and proper grading could resolve this problem. Finally, the camp hosts sites are very unsightly. Since these sites are the first thing one sees when entering the campground The camp host should be required to cleanup their sites. In spite of these issues the campground remains a good place to stay.

The camp sites are very large with plenty of space between them. This camp ground is paved throughout and is a perfect place to ride bicycles or simply enjoy a nice walk. It's secluded yet not too far away from any store or restaurant you can imagine. My wife and I have camped here five times now and have thoroughly enjoyed each time.

2nd time at this campground. This is our 2nd favorite grounds. Noticed that several sites, ours being one of them that seems to be not as well maintained as other COE facilities. Had poison oak & ivy growing thru the wood line right around the site. My wife & I have both gotten small patched of rash that we attribute to the poison around sites. They could manicure a little better or even spray around sites. Its not like we were in the woods or rolling around in it. Other than that we enjoy this campground. Lots of bike riding without lots of hills to pull.

This is one of the most beautiful and peaceful campgrounds we have ever camped at. Our lot was very spacious and wooded. We really enjoyed using the fire pit and the grill while we enjoyed nature. We highly recommend camping here!

Great stay at well kept campground! Close enough to run into town for shopping. If you need firewood, a very nice couple sells it about a mile or so west on Old Selma Road. Be sure to pick up some of their boiled peanuts, too ... they were good! They also have fresh shelled pecans from the orchard across the street, as well as veggies and fruits in season.

Awesome private campsites with long driveways. Beautiful showers in the main bathhouse. Really enjoyed our two night stay to visit Montgomery.
