Prairie Creek Campground in Lowndes County is located 46 min west of Montgomery, AL with an elevation of 146 feet. There are a total of 62 campsites including 7 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 55 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 120 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. All sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $22.00 to $26.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Campground was beautiful, the lots were very spacious. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Camp host and cleaning staff were top notch!! Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful camping experience!

Easy to find, check in was a breeze (even after hours). Quiet, peaceful environment. Sites are generous and spaced out. Bathhouse was spotless. Will definitely return

The campground was clean and looked well cared for. The restrooms looked like they had recently been painted. Several sites have very easy access to ones boat, and several other sites have wooden decks. The water pressure at our site was a bit high, so be sure to use a pressure regulator.

Excellent campground. Sites are a good distance apart in a lovely forest. Staff was fantastic - they helped us and answered questions in every way possible. Can't wait to return.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Wish we could have stayed longer but it was booked up. The gate staff were so friendly and helpful. The camp sites were clean and laid out beautifully. We will definitely be back.

Very nice CG site was overlooking the Alabama River. Quiet and spacious. Not near anything so bring provisions. I only stayed 1 night maybe next time Ill stay longer v

All of the hosts were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean! We were at Fort Pickens in Florida the 2 wks prior and it was Filthy!!!! Thank you for taking good care of Prairie CreekThe sites are also nice & large.

This is a very beautiful campground. I have been to quite a few campgrounds around the U.S. and this was one of the cleanest, most well taken care of camp grounds I have visited. Our campsite was gorgeous and the campground workers down to housekeeping were extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back.
