Prairie Creek campground is beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoy our short time there. Our site was level, and not too close to the other campers. The bathroom was very clean with good water pressure. It could use a little upgrade, but I rather have a clean bathroom.The hosts Ms Shirley and Mr Cam were awesome! Shirley called, and waited for us...we were a little lost ...Cam gave us a lot of information about the area and when the power when off due to a rainstorm, he made came around to inform us of the campground status. We left a day early, because of the possible bad storm, but Prairie creek is in our list of great campground and will be back soon.

Such big spacious spots and privacy! We got a spot with a private dock as well!

Nice peaceful shaded place. Campground is well maintained and managed. Sure sewage at campsite would be better, but then it would be a perfect place, because it is that close to perfect!!

It is a beautiful park and well maintained from what we saw. We did end up leaving a day early because of the unusually bad ant problem. We have camped a long time and at many parks and this was the worst we have ever had. We had to leave before they completely overtook our camper. We were in site 37 Thanks

We chose to camp on the hottest weekend of this year. Most all of the sites are well shaded and the breeze coming off of the river made it bearable. The campground was clean and well staffed we had an excellent time hanging out around the park. This is one of our favorite spots to camp and relax.

It's too hot for tent camping in July. We knew that, but chose to do so anyway. This place must be absolutely perfect in slightly cooler weather!The views were spectacular, and the fireflies were lovely! The bathrooms and showers worked great and were cleaner than most campground facilities we've seen. No roaches or spiderwebs -yay!I do not know if we will pass this way again, but I would gladly camp here again. Great spot!

This is one of the nicest campgrounds that I have stayed in and I have stayed in many. I am a tent camper. These sites are large, fairly private, and drain well. The bath houses are clean, but could use a little updating. Water actually comes out of the showerhead instead of just dripping out like some other campgrounds I have been to.The army core engineers has dropped their requirement that Firewood cannot be delivered to the campsites. Us campers appreciate greatly. Youre listening to our request and changing your policy on this. It makes it a much more pleasant experience. There is one thing that completely separates this campground from others that I have been to. Cam is the campground host and has gone way above and beyond helping me and making me feel welcome. He has had other house there, Shirley is the latest, who I think he has trained very well because they are ultra, considerate and helpful to all the campers. this campground is 3 1/2 hours from the and I drive past several other campgrounds that I have stayed at in order to stay at this one. I will be returning to this campground for two weeks stays at least twice a year. many of the sites are right on the edge of the water. Some even have small piers. Now, if they can just do something about the heat and the bugs during the summertime.

5 stars Perfect Creekside Getaway!We had an amazing stay at Prairie Creek Campground! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming they even gave us a spot right on the creek, complete with a dock. It couldnt have been more perfect! The fishing was fantastic, and the peaceful setting made for a truly relaxing trip. If youre looking for a great place to unwind and enjoy nature, this is it. Well definitely be back!

Had to drive over 20 miles to the nearest store. Not a lot to do here. Cell service was very weak.

We really like this campground and this site. The one bad thing is the lack of good AT&T cell service. It is sketchy, at best; and only provides one bar of LTE (often none), and even that often provides no service. The nearest cell tower must be overloaded. One of the disappointments on this trip was that I had to use my sling blade to cut the weeds and "tall" grass around the site. It appeared to not have been cut in a couple of weeks. The men's bath house, in our loop, also had issues. The toilet tissue dispenser in the non-handicapped was broken, one shower-head was not usable and the one in the handicapped shower has a squirting hose the is annoying. I hope these issues will be corrected before our next visit.

Prairie Creek is so peaceful and beautiful. I love just watching the herons, turtles and listening to the birds. I needed this reset and will definitely be back! The spots are long and some are breathtaking. The park and bathrooms are clean. The other campers I met were super friendly and helpful. I caught some fish too!

We really enjoy returning to the lovely and quiet experience at Prairie Creek. The only downside is the sketchy AT&T cell service - which is no fault of the campground. We don't camp to spend a lot of time on the media, but we do want to have access to communication. Prairie Creek is our 2nd favorite campground.Enjoy...

I love this park, Its home away from homeI was very surprised to see that the banks at the camp site had not been cut/weed eated. It was very snakie. We saw 3 poisonous snake at our banks. We will be bringing something back next time to cut around our area. I understand the people that cut are not suppose to run there mower around the camper at the lot but cutting the bank to keep everyone safe especially small children and our pets safe should be high priority.

We love Prairie Creek campground. Only drawback was no washing Machine in Eagle Roost section and grass had not been cut.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
