Excellent campground. Sites are a good distance apart in a lovely forest. Staff was fantastic - they helped us and answered questions in every way possible. Can't wait to return.

Prairie Creek was a wonderful campground, beautiful, clean and easy to access. The people that checked us in were wonderful, friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again. My only regret was that we didn't have more time and could stay longer.

We had a beautiful site right on the water and could watch the sunset. There are several docks you can fish from, boat ramps, and a playground. We drove around the area and there is nothing near the campground but farmland. It is a beautiful place for a relaxing weekend.

Water was brown with sand and sediment. This is the second time this has happened. Ruins my water filter and I have to completely flush my systems when I get home.

Very nice park! Lots of area for walking, bike riding, and just enjoying the peace! Fairly busy but quiet. We went to visit the old capital at Cahaba. That is a definite must see place!
