very nice camp grounds but some trees need to be cut to make backing into lots easier, trees are outside entrance but leans over lot and if not careful will get the top of camper

We really enjoyed our stay at Prairie Creek. We were there a few days over Thanksgiving and the natural ambiance weather did not disappoint. We are a very active family too and there is plenty of area to walk/bike around the camp which is quite large. Sites are large, most all level and well spaced apart. We will be back if we ever pass this way again!

The sites are large, you're not sitting on top of your neighbors. The campground is very woodsy and shaded, and back up to water. Relaxing and quiet. We camped on site 35 for 10 days and our friends were across the road from us. Enjoyed views of the water and campfires. Make sure you bring everything and a few extras that you might need, because there is only a General Dollar store 10 miles away. Nearest town is either Selma Alabama or Prattville Alabama and they are 35-40 miles away. Water/Electric only. Shower houses are cleaned daily and in great shape. Staff was great with checking in and for information about area. Would give 5 stars if sites were full hook-up.

this was a very quiet and uncrowded camp. Lots of available spaces with hook-ups. The site we were on had a
ant colony that apparently liked something about our motorhome and overran us and infested us. It took us several days to clean and spray everything to get rid of them and so I only gave it 4 stars. Had I noticed them sooner I would have taken preventative precautions.
