First time to camp at Gunter Hill. We loved it. Our spot was perfect. It was shaded and very private. Gunter Hill is a very clean place and a beautiful camping park. The front gate employees were excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going back soon.

We had a great visit to Gunter Hill. We camped in site 23 in a 27 foot camper trailer. The site was nearly level and there was plenty of space between sites. The water views (we were across the street from the water) were good from our site. The staff was friendly, welcoming and thoughtful. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend it!

We love Gunter Hill Campground. The sites are very large, all of the sites in the Catoma section have FHU and they offer free laundry. This is our go to campground during the winter months since most of the other COE campgrounds close for the winter. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because the electricity went off twice during our stay, one time overnight and the second time for a few hours during the day. The camp hosts were extremely committed to having it repaired, but they were at the mercy of the electric company. We stayed November 2024.

Website is user friendly and host & park personnel are always the nicest people. Definitely one of our favorite places to camp!

This was our first time camping at Gunter Hill. It has great spacious sites, full hookups, concrete pads, and level. Also with Golden Age card, you can camp half price. We are planning on coming back.

We enjoyed our visit to Gunner Hill. Our visit was just one way on our way to Gulf Shores and then on the return trip. The sites were very nice, level with full hook ups. We will be visiting again.

Good pad, nice people, bathrooms had hot water, could be cleaner, and lots of trash in the woods by the water but overall a fun place to be!

This was our first stay at Gunner Hill and it didn’t disappoint. One of the best we’ve ever stay at. We will definitely stay again.

I have been camping here since 2015. Every time has created a great memory for my family. Great staff, clean park. Lots of wildlife. I have already booked a site for late April.
