We tent camped here for the first time during Easter weekend. It was fantastic ! My kids absolutely loved the wildlife and forest. Our spot was conveniently located across from the water pump and a few spots down from the bathrooms and trash. It was a wonderful stay and I cant recommend it enough.

Beautiful and clean!

This is an extremely convenient location with an epic view in all directions. And the foot bridge straight into town was a great surprise! We totally loved it. The walk-in tent sites were really nice. As tent campers, we would have liked to have been given warning about the nightly strong & shifty wind gusts that happen in the canyon as part of the unique weather there.

Great campground - nicely spaced and beautiful views. Could not be closer to the visitor centre for the shuttle into the park

Great place to stay. Very kind rangers and clean warm toilet building. Very easy to start your day trips.

The campground is well laid out and peaceful. The location to ease to access the shuttle was very nice. The grounds and restrooms were very clean and maintained. We enjoyed our weekend very much.

great campground. If you are wanting quiet, and don't need hook up for electric, i would rec loop C or F.the RV part of the campground can be very busy and not that quiet.

Location is amazing, Zion is well Zion, and not much privacy in the campground, but the location couldnt be better Bathrooms very clean

It is such a privilege to be able to stay inside the park, especially with so much construction being done on the South Campground. The site was more than ample. It's wonderful to be only with tent-campers because it is much quieter. We had easy access to water, bathrooms and the dish washing station.
@BryanR3871518 · Camped on Apr 15, 2025 at Campsite #D1
Great campground with great access to the park. D01 was close to the water/bathrooms with a great view of the watchman. More cars being at the front but dont bother us

Can't go wrong with any of the sites at Watchman Campground! Just avoid big holidays!

Clean and convenient as usual. Always stay in D-loop; this was the first time we have experienced issues with noise. Two sets of campers who only stayed one night were very disrespectful late at night and very early morning.

Booked group site E001 for about 21 people (9 kids). Site was nice and big with good shade (shifting throughout day). Had 6 tents set-up and site (one truck bed tent in parking) and did not feel cramped (4 were big family sized tents). Easily had room for 4 to 6 more mid-sized tents. Site has 6 marked parking spots, but we had a 7th car parked and did not receive a caution from the rangers. Site had 5 or 6 picnic tables under a shade structure so there was lots of room to cook and places to sit at the table. Site was on the outer edge of the campground with lots of space between the other sites. Noise from neighboring camps did not spill over. There is an adjacent restroom (was out of order at the time, so not sure how that may disturb site). Restroom structure also had a wash sink for washing dishes which was great! Site was a 7 to 10 minute walk to visitor center and pedestrian bridge into Springdale. I would book this site again!

Site was wonderful because there is nobody behind you and it backs up to the mountains, however the noise was excessive. During our visit, a family with several kids played and screamed throughout the campground in various sites. We had to politely ask the kids to not walk through our site, on our tent pad, and near our jet boils for safety. The kids were quiet by 10 pm (quiet hours), but the parents were not. It really ruined the experience for us. I understand this park is very populated and will be louder than other, less crowded national parks, but I wish the camp host had addressed the noise. Bathrooms were very clean! Site had an awning over the table to help with sun. Great site, just unpleasant experience this time around.

Amazing as always, but Zion has become too crowded. Ive been coming here for years, always blown away by the beauty and spectacular rock formations, but the crowds, although understandable, is not my jam. Everyone was polite and respectful of one another.

Campsites and rest rooms were clean, beautiful views from camp - great experience.

We were in site C002 which had a little shade and overall a good site. My biggest comment is that the bathroom capacity was not adequate for the number of users.
@JesicaR99B8A2E · Camped on Apr 10, 2025 at Campsite #C13
Nice campground with lots of campsites and it looked like they were even constructing another campground next to this one. The restrooms were close and clean. I liked that this campsite was close to the visitor center where the shuttle stop is and the town of Springdale so you could walk to eat or to the store.

Het was druk, de RV kon niet op de parkeerplaats en we konden gelijk de camper op de plaats zetten heel erg fijn!Hele goede uitvalsbasis voor Zion! Dikke aanrader

Stayed at D034. Campground was well maintained however a lot of the trees are dead. Do not count on the trees shown in the photos to provide shade especially on the hotter days. Our site had little to no shade but a good view of the surrounding environment.
@DeborahOC28CD2 · Camped on Apr 8, 2025 at Campsite #B36
Campground was well maintained and generally quiet even though it was full. Our only issue was pulling up to the RV dump on our way out at 7 AM and finding it full and overflowing. No sign, no notice, just a pool of sewage around the drain. Staff needs to pay attention and block it off when full.
@DarylL726BCAFB · Camped on Apr 7, 2025 at Campsite #A16
Close to the nice clean toilets, located at the corner of the loop which gives it a nice mix of privacy and convenience
@JessieD151D9AA · Camped on Apr 6, 2025 at Campsite #C20
Beautiful campground in the most beautiful national park. Staff was nice and bathrooms were well maintained. It waa rather windy at night and our tent is not the best in wind ao keep that in mind if you're tenting it with light sleepers

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
