We absolutely loved this campground. It was awesome to have electric in your site in a national park. Something that is not normal.It was close to so many other things and town. The shuttle service was so convenient. It even took you into town. We loved everything about Watchman Campground.Very clean bathrooms too.

1st time staying at watchman campground. Very clean, super close to everything. Walking distance to the visitor center, shuttle and outside town. Amazing spot to rest, over looking the tall mountain walls. Got lucky with a reservation

The campgrounds were well kept and spacious. Good use of natural grasses and shrubs as separators. Easy access to nice restrooms ands the visitors center where you can catch the shuttle. Walk across bridge access to Springdale, too.

We enjoyed our electric sites A17 n A20 at the Watchman Campground even though it was very hot. In the 90's. Site A20 has more shade than A17. Both are by a restroom. You can walk from loop A to the Visitor Center and to the shuttle bus. Which we took. At stop 20 is a lovely 2 mile RT hike to the narrows. Hike early and you will be rewarded with cool temperatures.

Very nice campgrounds! Our spot in the F loop even had shade! Lots of drinking water and soap, along with fire circles. Perhaps the most scenic frontcountry campsite I've ever been at, with the cliff walls and the Watchman all around it. The sky looks beautiful on a clear night.

We had spot A02, it was nice and roomy. They need to do a better job of diverting water so the campground doesn't become a mud hole when it rains. Our spot was ok, but other spots people were wading in ankle deep mud.

Great campground in perfect location! A spacious site with access to clean toilets and water. We really enjoyed our stay here, we visited just after Zion had lots of rain and the ground was like soggy clay in some areas but when we arrived it had obviously been cleared as much as they could. It didnt affect our trip at all and wed stay here again. Great walking distance to shops and restaurants and the Zion shuttle for walks. We woke up to several deer around our site, it was lovely.

The campsite was big and we had some shade. It rained a lot while we were there, and some of the campsites were a lake. Our site (B54) was muddy, but it drained pretty well. The Campground was close to the visitor center and wilderness desk, as well as Springdale main street.

Great campground! We loved every bit, just be prepared for the heat as there is little shade in some spots

Great location. Close to shuttle buses and Springdale. Only negative was the ants. They were able to get in our tent.

I wish the RV sites had water hook-ups. Showers inside the campground would also be a huge benefit.
@JordanR7876926 · Camped on Aug 18, 2025 at Campsite #A10
No problems. We were very close to the ranger talk and the river which was amazing. Can't beat the view of the mountain. Close to stores to pick up lots of food items or anything you forgot. We were very happy

A very nice campground with good facilities, and the proximity to the river makes it the perfect spot for hot summer days.

Next to a covered picnic area with tables, easy access to the creek for swimming/cooling off, nearby trails and hikes. Great campsite. Has electric hookup.

Nice and beautiful campground with a trail that can lead you around the Canyon. Bathrooms are clean and close by. Dumpster station is in the entrance.

A beautiful campground with great facilities! Lots of active wildlife so be sure to listen to the rangers and leave no temptations out for the animals! We can't wait to go back!

The English translation of the review is:Our location near the stream was great, with clean restrooms and a large sink for washing dishes. It was very comfortable and with nice view of the mountains. It was close to the hiking trails in Zion National Park. A convenient sewage dumping station and shade from the trees."

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
