Nice camp. Cancellations kept opening up so we were able to book reservations we needed for our visit to Zion.

Camp hosts are very helpful. Location in the park and access to visitors center, shuttle bus, and the town make this campground the perfect base camp for your Zion visit.

The watchman campground is a great campground. The hosts are friendly, the bathrooms are clean and plentiful. Any site is a good one - you either get great views or the sound of the creek or both! We spent 5 nights here and walked to everything (or walked to the bus)! Can't beat the location!

Sites are raised up and pretty level but still can pool water. Bathrooms are good. Flush toilets and a sink outside for dishes. Not too far to walk to visitor center and get the shuttle or walk to rent gear for the narrows. We had a great time and would definitely go back! Didn't need the electricity but was nice to be able to charge phone.

This was a first time to Watchman. Very roomy and super clean campsite. An awesome setting. A bathhouse as clean as one could reasonably expect. The walking distance to visitors center also a plus!

This campground is in a very convenient location. Just know that all sites are close together with very few trees and shrubs. In summer this site would be very toasty as it was in full sun. Thankfully we stayed in October. Good bathrooms and great dish washing sink.

A great space where we could hook up to electric. The bathrooms were clean and the water access with dish water location was convenient. Perfect view of the park and easy access to the town, trails, and shuttle system.

Beautiful campground! Very large sites and many convenient pull thru sites. The ones along the river had a wonderful view of deer each morning. The bathrooms were clean , sites were level and electric was convenient. Walking distance to shuttles was easy and very user friendly. Loved this campground ! We will be back!

Our site was level and the views from every direction just gorgeous. So much better staying inside the park. Just wish there were actual laundry facilities in Springdale. Would do this again.

Really great campground! Convenient location, clean bathrooms, beautiful views. Not too loud either, not sure what else youd want out of a campsite.

Clean facilities. Proximity to visitor center, shuttle, and Springdale shops.

It was super convenient to stay here. Right next to the visitor center so could easily take the shuttle in the mornings to our hikes. Also was able to walk into Springdale for a coffee shop days. Views are also INCREDIBLE just from the campsite. I hadn't really done a ton of research and was just blown away by the beauty of Zion so you could put me next to a dumpster and I wouldn't care. Speaking of dumpsters, one thing to notate is that the trash pick up was early and often woke me up. Campsites are close together but makes sense given the amount of visitors to the park. Bathrooms were clean and nearby. Dump station and water was in a convenient location as well.

This campground is always crowded, campsites are closer than I'd like. But it is well maintained and people were friendly and respectful of the rules. A good base camp for exploring the park. It was about a 35 minute drive to left fork trailhead if you're doing the subway hike.
@BrianS9986332 · Camped on Oct 8, 2025 at Campsite #C13
This time I stayed in campgrounds A & C. I love everything about Zion and both sites exceeded expectations. Wonderful views, clean restrooms, quiet neighbors. October is a great time to be in the park provided the weather cooperates.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
