Site B20 was plenty big enough for our 25 foot rig with pop-outs and our F250 crew cab long bed. Loved having electricity and the bathrooms/water spigot was 80 feet away at the comfort station. Loved being able to sit in the river in the heat of the afternoon. Saw lots of deer and hummingbirds. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Site is unlevel and sloped towards the street. No issue leveling out though.

Beautiful campsite with useful amenities very close by. Easy walk to the river and it was fun to see deer while in the campsite.

Mostly great experience - staff was friendly, bathrooms were clean, Zion was amazing. I wish more people would heed the suggestions about using red lights instead of normal flashlights. You go to Zion for the hikes and the views but also the beautiful night sky, which is messed up when people wave flashlights all over the place. (Night vision and all.) One neighbor in particular had a bevy of lights flashing (including keeping the car lights on for an extended period). SMDH.Some suggestions for surviving the experience:* the ground where you would stake out your tent is pretty hard, plan accordingly* don't feel the need to buy everything prior to coming in. The store near the campgrounds is within walking distance, and prices weren't that outrageous* even if the weather report says partly cloudy, assume a chance of thunderstorms. Extra tarp/cover is helpful.* depending on your carrier you might get cell coverage at the campsite, but don't assume much. Recommend downloading maps/trails prior to arrivingOne last thing - the Narrows is absolutely amazing, but saw a number of families with small children who thought it would be cute to try and ford the river with only shorts on. The ones who were coming back out were shivering and crying. Or others who thought it was neat to go swimming and go fully in the river, despite all the warnings. At the very minimum watch all of the various YT videos on what to expect and read the signs.

Super clean campsites and very spread apart from neighbors. We had 2 tents and a car and were comfortable for the night.

Camping spot was nicely placed amongst cedars and the watchman behind us.Staff were welcoming and helpful to get us to our spot.

We had to move camp 3 nights in a row because thats all that was available. Not upset about that because we got to stay there for 3 nights! Loved our time there and we had a great experience and a lot of wild life coming around camp.

Impossible to secure a spot with electricity. I tried 6 months in advance. Everyday, I tried as spots opened up. Never able. I finally gave up and rented dry camp spot. With no electric, it was hot, no shade, dry, dusty. Many trees are dead or dying. Some are trying to come back. There are many trees at Zion that are green and flourishing. I don't understand why the campground trees are brown and dying. The restrooms had water and a sink. No showers. All of that said... the park was amazing. Signage was not clear and wasted a lot of time looking for trails that were closed. No easy information. Other visitors were the best source. I do love the new transportation system. Good job!. All National Parks should convert.

It was our first time at this campground and we didn't know the layout of it till we got there. Overall we were very happy with our stay there.

This location was great! Not a far walk from parking at all. Lots of deer in the area.

While I wish there were showers, I found the bathrooms to be very clean. Our ranger, checked in with us in the evening and was super pleasant and informative. The sites were spacious and clean. Planning on coming back to Zion and will again be staying here!

Short version, the campgrounds are great! Quiet low key with families with well behaved kids having fun. Get in Zion park and things can get hectic. The park personnel gave good advice to get on the shuttles early so the buss and trails aren't crowded. Then relax in the campground in the second half of the day, good advice! My only wishes would be ......that there was a water supply at each camp site. Many RV campers have a mobile dump tank that you can empty your gray water tank but you have to unhook to refill your fresh water tank for showers or cleaning.

Loved our stay here inside the park! So close to the shuttle bus stop and the town, if I had to change anything Id have stayed in winter or spring so it wasnt so hot at night and I wish there were showers on site even if they were just cold showers but could walk to town and pay $5 for one. We had deer walk through our campsite at night which was amazing

Lovely campground location, and I appreciate that there's a shuttle to all places in the park and into town. I would love there to be showers somewhere within the park though.

Not private at all, no shade. Clean and easy to get in and out and made it easy to access the park.
@RebeccaH696815 · Camped on May 28, 2025 at Campsite #D12
The campground was very close to the visitor center and the Watchman Campground. The bathrooms were nice and clean and there was a sink for all to wash dishes which was nice.

Nice campsite but all campsites are very close together. The bathroom is nearby and was clean. Excellent dishwashing sink available too. About a half mile walk to the visitor center.

@RonaldH093523B · Camped on May 26, 2025 at Campsite #A10
Beautiful, camp sites were huge & spaced apart with lots of privacy. Our only complaint is our picnic table was way too close to the back end of our camper & they are tied down so we couldnt use it.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
