Winter camping at its finest!

Typical state park campground. Clean and kept nice. Bathrooms were clean. Staff (;camp host) were very friendly and helpful.The water was accessible. And two loops had 30 Amp power, which was awesome.I think the only drawback would be if you leave the park, you have to wait in line at the entrance gate to the park every time you want to return to the campground.

Clean easy

Location was amazing. Bathrooms clean. Crowded trails. I completely support charging higher entrance fees for those who havent paid US taxes.

Beautiful setting and convenient to the bus/visitors center, town, and bike path. Some sites were a little close together, but quiet and peaceful compared to the road traffic and parking.

So nice! Just a walk over the bridge to all the necessities! Wish I brought a bike.

This is a beautiful setting, however the campground needs updating and a good cleanup. Many dead trees and very overgrown. Only 30 Amps max is available and the hookup was so worn that the cord would not stay in without tape holding it in place. We have stayed here every year for many years and nothing has been done to maintain the campground. One of the two rest room facilities was closed and the park was full. We stayed in a motorhome.

The campground descriptions severely overstated the availability of showers around the campground. The only readily available shower is at Zion Outfitters which was $4 for five minutes. Otherwise, you would need to spend $100 a night to stay either at a hotel or privately run campground to access their showers.

Campsite C10 was the perfectSpot for tent camping. Great views of Cable Mountain and very secluded being alone on the end of the loop. Lots of deer activity. Their was also a trail next to site C9 down to friends at A loop.

I can't recommend this campground enough. If you are visiting Zion, this is where you want to stay! We were a few minutes walk from the visitor center (and shuttle bus stop), and a quick walk into town (brewery is just across the bridge). It was so nice to park the car and not have to get into it again during our stay. The parking lots fill up fast, so just having a place to park your car when visiting the National Park is dreamy! The views from our campsite were beautiful, we loved seeing all the deer in camp, and my personal favorite was the dishwashing sink (with warm water) at the bathroom building - SO NICE!

We stayed in loop B, site #32. The site itself was perfect, close to the bathrooms but not too close, and had a couple trees for shade. The campground is very well-maintained and bathrooms were clean. Loved that we could just walk to the Visitors Center, the nearby pub brew restaurant, and a small market that had firewood.

Great location, beautiful scenery. Did not see a park ranger the entire time we were there.

Level sites with ample room for vehicle, tent and privacy.

Campground was amazing and the town of Springdale was walkable from the campsite. The park itself was very bikeable which was great.

I did not like this campground at all. The sites were crammed right next to each other and too many people were playing music, even late into the night, not to mention all the car horns going off, people laughing and shouting, dogs barking etc. I dont know what is wrong with people these days, there is no courtesy toward others and it was hard to relax and read and eat a meal. It wasnt until I backpacked into the back country that I was able to enjoy Zion. And this was during the off season!

It was great. Camp host charged our car battery, bathrooms were nice, communal fire was great. Campsite was well maintained. It might have been better if the website listed that there are no fire pits in the F Loop campsites, but the communal fire was maybe even better. The walk-to F-Loop sites are very close to the parking lot, like an average of 300 feet maybe, but they're better because they don't line a roadway. And the campground is right next to the visitor center and bus depot. So it's super convenient.

Zion National Park has always been one of our favorites. Visiting those places is an adventure for us. We travel by RV, and what we enjoy the most is driving along the parks east entrance. Unfortunately, starting next year it wont be possible anymore because the tunnel will be closed to RV traffic, but it will always remain one of the highlights of our vacations.

This is our third time staying in Watchman Campground. This campground is well managed and maintained. It is walking distance to the showers at the outdoor outfitters, the visitor's center, a couple of the hiking trails and the shuttle. The view of the night sky is incredible and wildlife is plentiful.

We absolutely loved the campground and had a wonderful evening when we arrived. The next day we were very rudely confronted by a campground host who very adamantly informed us we had taken an extra space and needed to pay him immediately. I showed him the website, our reservation and explained why we thought the space was ours. He said he could see that but it doesnt matter, pay me now. It was not a pleasant experience and really soured what should have been a beautiful morning. If you book B053 a & c, do not park in b! B is not available online, they will have it marked as reserved (we thought it was for us as we had 3 vehicles noted in our reservation) and it is not blocked off. But we were informed that it is for emergency purposes only. The gentleman rudely informed us we need to pay $45 NOW for a parking spot that isnt even reservable in the system. Those of us who were awake (this occurred around 8:00 am) did not have the exact $45, he said we owed. He said your problem, I dont need to have change for you. He offered us to write down our credit card number uh, no thanks. I offered to stop up to the visitor center to pay, he said no, you have to pay now. CRAZY!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
