The bad stuff... Noisy!
Our experience was not ideal as our first night was disrupted by an extremely loud group, throwing a party. Several complaints were made from multiple campers as the loud music, screaming and loud sounds were permeating the campground, and heard in the lower loop and beyond. It was so unpleasant we requested to move, which the Park Ranger kindly helped us do. Two park police finally broke up the party at 8pm, but after 4 hours of noise, we were still on edge. Overall, I found the campsite to be very loud each night as many sites are packed together in close proximity. It did not feel like a peaceful National Park camping experience and contrastingly different than experiences at other parks (more partiers, which the Ranger explained was from people visiting from Vegas). We did visit on a holiday weekend which probably accounted for this excessive noise as all sites were full.
Good stuff...
Super clean bathrooms!
By far the cleanest bathrooms for a park and convenient washing bins, hand dryers and we'll maintained bathrooms.
Loop A has a walking bridge that accesses the town of Springdale, where there's a market for food items, etc
The camp ground is conveniently located at park entrance and easy to find in daylight or night hours.
