Fantastic spot and place. Courteous campers so solid quiet time. No hammock hanging though :-(

Loop C is very good for families. Has access to two restrooms. It is centric within the campground and easy access to the visitor center. Some of the car spaces are tight and not necessarily accommodate two vehicles, thus call ahead of time to ensure your vehicle(s) can fit. Be aware of deer, there not shy to enter your space. Facilites have been updated and are clean, campground feels new. Cant wait for the South Campground currently under construction to open.

This is an awesome campground! Its huge with a lot of camping sites and 4 different loops. I was in loop C. The size of the campsite is perfect and the fire pit is far enough away from the tent space so the smoke doesnt blow into the tent. The bathroom was heated and very well kept.

Loved the campground but slightly small area and were really close to the neighboring campsite

Campground is not sheltered from wind or sun. It is surrounded by pavement. Otherwise, the toilet are clean and the other park services are useful.

Very pretty views from the campground. The sites are very close together. Bathrooms were clean. The campground is located such that you can walk to the shuttle, trails, and town, which is nice, but being so close to town means it can be a little noisy there.

The watchmen campground had more amenities than we expected. The bathrooms were clean and the clean water was abundant. The only downfall was the heat. Also we did have trouble staking out our tents in the hard rocky floor. The park employees were wonderful and very helpful. The park employees put on little presentations every night and even had short guided hikes. The trams were easy to use and it was super easy to get around the park. The biggest plus about the campground is it is walking distance to Zion outfitters and the town of Springdale. There are hot showers at the outfitters and all your gear rental needs. There is also a market and a highly recommended brewery with delicious eats. Lastly the campground is beautiful. It is surrounded by the mountains and consistently visited by the deer. The virgin river is a short walk away and the visitor center is literally in the same parking lot. Super convenient, super cheap, exceptionally clean, very safe and very beautiful.

Eliminate the hand dryers for a more calming experience. It’s the desert, people can drip dry. That was probably the worst thing hearing that all night lol. It sounds ridiculous but it takes away from nature.

Excellent location, walking distance to visitor center, shuttles, trails etc. Sites are generally shaded, facilities (restrooms, etc) are well maintained. Lots of deer ??

Watchman Campground is well located near bike trail, hiking trails, Visitor Center and shuttle. Many birds and mule deer visit the campground daily. Message board on the wall outside the bathroom has information about locations to shower in Springdale.

Great campsite very conveniently located to both the town and a lot of the hikes in Zion. Beautiful rock formations everywhere you look!
