Really clean campsite with good space between sites. Bathrooms were very clean and it had good cell phone coverage with Verizon.

Close distance. The best view

The packed clay tent pads made it impossible to anchor our tent. Additionally, the restroom lights did not work, so a headlamp was necessary to use the facilities after dark. Otherwise, it was a nice campground.

Judging on the pictures, I logged on six months in advance and thought I was getting the most shaded spot for our summer roadtrip. That wasnt the case as many of the trees in the campsite had died. We had morning shade but no afternoon shade. We camped in a tent so it got really hot, we couldnt even cook it was so unbearable. The squirrels and chipmunks were restless. While we were in our campsite, they would try and take food, and even went as far as chewed around the plastic casing of our cooler while we had our eye off it. Completely destroyed it. The location of the campsite saved it though, very close to shuttles and the bridge across town. Loved having the Zion outfitter showers right across the bridge and the brew pub!

This was a great campsite! Very clean and close to the shuttles, will be staying here again! Big enough to fit 2 cars one tent and an extra table comfortably, the ground was very even so good for tent camping. Just keep in mind the deer are very used to people so they will come up and try to take your food (not a problem but something to pay attention to). Quiet hours are at a reasonable time and its a very chill campground. Bathrooms were cleaned everyday and the sink to wash dishes was very nice. The only downside is how close the road and resorts are, its just something to pay attention to when picking a camp spot.

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet campground. Fair amount of space between campsites to give a private feeling. Really enjoyed being within walking distance to the Visitor center, shuttles, and the town of Springdale. Once you were at your campsite, you didnt have to get back in your vehicle until you were ready to leave. We really enjoyed our stay at Watchman campground.

The trailers are amazing. I had a great time. Plan on returning to explore more of the park. The campsites are well maintained and easy to access. Only wish I could have booked a few more days.

Gorgeous spot to camp for the night. Unfortunately too icy/snowy to break out the bikes for a proper tour. Will come back in the fall

Watchmen campground (A009) was minutes walk from park shuttle, visitor center, clean bathrooms, and even the Springdale shopping and food (zion brewwery and zion outfitters). Things we wish we knew (1) rent the wetsuits from out of town prior to getting to park (2) we visited during X-mas so lots of downtown closed (3) I had a pair of yak trax, but should have purchased for wife and child, park had some at a decent price. Overall winter camping (Roof top tent) was worth it, small crowds, the camp site had electric so we had a small heater running. Will come back for a different season, but the weather was amazing from 23-26 DEC.

Great views from Watchman campground. Be careful when you decide to return to the campground via the Springdale entrance to Zion National Park. You have to wait in the park entrance line each time and sometimes that line is long. Campers should be offered a quicker way back to the campground.

The campground was good. The site was clean, and well maintained. I only wish that there was more oversight of other campers who were disruptive, loud, and had voices, and music playing that could be heard all over the campsite. There needs to be a rule of "your noise needs to be contained in your site, and not disrupt the neighborhood." Yes, quiet hours start at 10pm, but that shouldn't mean that they can be loud the rest of the day. There is no reason other than pure selfishness that others have to be subjected to what I consider rude, and obnoxious behavior. The rangers should be monitoring, and patrolling on occasion, and registered campers need to be told that rule right up front, just as you mention to not leave food out, and when check out is required. Obtrusive noise should not be tolerated, or those campers need to leave.

It was the best most beautiful campground we have every stayed in! We were in Loop A. It was so clean the the views of Watchman and the surrounding magical mountains were surreal. We will certainly make more reservations in the future!
