We scored two nights in two different spots here a couple weeks ago. SO great! SO quiet! I was hoping to catch another cancellation, but did not. We are grateful for the two nights that we did stay!

Great campground! It was so convenient to park shuttle and trail access, as well as to the Springdale shuttle. Looking forward to camping there again sometime in the future!

Nice campground. The sites are good, the restrooms clean and it is close to the entrance of the park and the shuttle busses. The only downside is that it is not as secluded as most NP-campgrounds. You are right across the river from the town. But also an upside, because it is walking distance if you want to grab something to eat at a restaurant.

Our site was wonderful! Surprisingly spacious, close (but not too close) to the bathrooms, and right by the river. It was wonderful to listen to the sounds of the river, and to watch the sunset on the Watchman. We found the campground to be very quiet even when it was full - maybe we just got lucky.

We really enjoyed our stay at Watchmas. The location was convenient for the shuttles we didnt have to find parking and I love campgrounds with wash basins. The bathrooms were clean and staff friendly and helpful.

A great campsite right on the Virgin River. A nice back-in site with electricity which is needed for my AC. The bathroom across from the site is closed but others are within close walking distance. There is some shade here but there is a lot of midday and afternoon sun.
Easy to get to this site as it's inside Zion National Park. Be prepared for crowds but get out early on the shuttle and things are fine.

Watchman was perfect for our two night stay!! We will try for the same spot next year and stay a full week! B26 was a short walk to the visitor center, shuttles, and town. 15 steps from the bathrooms. AND had its own beach/river access! Luck of the draw but it was perfect!

The addition of showers would be amazing, especially for those hiking and tent camping.

The campground was perfect and we had a great time. The facilities were very clean the only problem was that there was so much light from other campers who came with the rvs. as a tent camper, it was super hard to fall asleep with so much light.

This is now one of my favorite places. I lucked into getting a reservation in May after someone had cancelled. Our campsite was right on the river near the bike path leading to the Visitor's Center and bus stops. As we drove into the park, we were a bit nervous as there were people everywhere. Once we set up our camp, we felt like we were miles away from the crowds, while being a stone's throw away from all the action. The campground was super clean, the sites are well maintaned and nicely spaced. At night, the campground was silent. I look forward to returning again when a spot is available.

B046 is a great campsite next to the river. Make sure to bring your head lights and be mindful of the frogs ??

The biggest disappointment of our stay at Watchman campground was the complicated shuttle reservation system. The time window for getting a shuttle reservation is ridiculous.
One obvious solution would be to be able to make shuttle reservations at the time you make your campground reservation.
Who stays at the campground and doesn't use the shuttle?
At the very least, a reminder email like you send before your campground dates.
Another disappointment was the museum was closed "due to covid concerns" while the gift shop was wide open with dozens of people (and dogs!) milling around. WTF?
Also, the restroom in Loop B was closed while we were there in mid March.
