The campground is well-situatedvery close to the beautiful Sand Dollar Beach and right along Pacific Coast Highway 1, which gets quite busy during the day. However, it was quiet in the evening. There were still a few spots available, even though the website showed the site as fully bookedsomething that surprised me. The two buildings containing flush toilets were closed. This meant that we had to use the composting toilets located outdoors. As you can imagine, that wasn't always a very pleasant experience.

NO potable water. And no warning. FULL AND FILTHY OUTHOUSES. Never saw the campground hosts. We had a good time however the above wa# unacceptable.

Beautiful campsite by Highway 1. You can hear the highway on weekends. No portable water at the campsite. All bathrooms were out of service, and only a port-a-potty was available.

It was a quiet campground near the Big Sur Highway. Could also go to part across the highway and view Sand Dollar beach and the ocean.Drawbacks were that the restroom facilities were not open. There were many portapotties in the campground if you needed to use a facility. There was also no potable water available--be sure to come with plenty of water for your needs.

this campground is almost perfect in every way. friendly host, spacious sites. 300 yards away from Sandstone Beach. a very good family vibe exists thru-out the whole park. i was aware of the water situation and they had ample port-a-pottys on site that were cleaned every 3rd day.

Site was beautiful as always. Camp hosts were kind and accommodating. Although the toilets werent working, there were plenty of portable toilets and they were serviced when we were there, making for a better experience.

There is not much privacy at the campground and the parking is not spacious. But its close to the beach cross the street, the scenery is just phenomenal

Our site was near the portable toilets which was great for traveling with kids and my grandparents. Unfortunately, our site on a hill which made the sleeping arrangements difficult. We were tilted while sleeping. The location of this camp area was great only an hour away from several great trails. Also, the site said shade there was no shade for us but luckily it was pretty cloudy while we were there. I would recommend not to forget any important essentials the closest market is Gorda Market, and they charge you an arm and leg for basic necessities.

Easy to find site. Quiet . Site was sloped for a large tent. Spigots marked as non-potable due to cracked water storage, so we had to filter the water. Slightly annoying. Great access to sand dollar beach.

Love giving my money to a third party when my tax dollars fund the parks. What a shame

Plaskett Creek is an excellent campground for anyone looking for a quiet, peacefully and incredibly beautiful place. We like tent camping and the grassy areas all around allow for wonderful natural padding. Good long tables with extensions for your camp stove and fire rings make it more enjoyable. 10 minute walk to a spectacular sunset over the bluffs, and another 10 minutes a often empty beach. California camping at its finest

The campground is located on a beautiful stretch of the Big Sur coast and Sand Dollar beach is a short walk from the campground. My only complaint is that the only bathrooms currently available are outhouses which are pretty gross.

It was great and we had a wonderful time! The campsite is lush green and we went with our pup and she enjoyed the stay and also the sand dollar beach which is a short hike away!

Always amazing, even with port-o-potties. Lovely camp hosts and a beautiful campground.

An outstanding experience. Camp Host Katie set the tone for what became an amazing 4-night stay. We felt from the first moment that we were in caring capable hands. The location is excellent, grounds immaculate. No facilities or potable water yet, but the porta-potties were well serviced. Definitely worth a return visit.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
